barrymorrison1 1,033 Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 mendes bound to be worth 10 mill with the prices going for midfielders down south lately cant really c any team paying 10million for a 29-30 yo who is playin in a pish poor league, and who has not been tested in european football this season as to get a true benchmark of his quality. would prefer to keep players of his ability. how would mendes cost gers 3-3.5million(me thinks)in august and treble his value by coming to the spl in less than six months. dont think a few good perfrmances in scotland will make any manager spend that kind of cash for a player his age. but, u never know. He didn't even have to look up, and it was an inch perfect ball. Great vision and great technique. On the other hand, did anyone else notice 'Captain Bazza' take the ball off Mendes around the 20 minute mark? Sums him up really...
