Any chance we could get a second coach in for Matondo?

I'd rather we spent that sort of money on two, with one of them being flexible enough to play across the front three.

There’s no way he’s going to flop - he managed 25 league goals for a poor Motherwell side this season!

Im genuinely terrified we pay £10m on a striker and they flop.
Thats a mental amount of money for us.

I’m sure you have more knowledge about the club’s transfer budget than I do but would stun me if we spent that amount of money. Mind you, didn’t think we’d spend the money we did on Davies and Ridvan

Duk had a period of games where he looked unreal. But he’s been shite since. Don’t think he’s good enough now and not at the price they’d sell
I’d still take a punt on Clarkson though. Tidy young versatile player with good potential. Knows the league etc. would be good cover for the midfield next season

They’ll most certainly be weaker if he goes, as much as we can’t stand the Cunt he’s signed well and has the tactics to consistently dominate the shite in this league.
Their recruitment could never keep up to the standard it was set at and saw that in the split that a few don’t seem to be at the level or at least they aren’t at this moment. 
Him going is a massive blow to them, whoever takes it over has a high bar to hit which the players and fans could easily turn on if not met.

Don't know if anything in Lingard (he's actually a good player) but what about André Ayew.
Just released as well by Notts Forest - Left Winger, played 13 times this season, no goals and no assists.  Will fill the void for those still pining for Kent.

I will be disappointed if he doesn't sign for us tbh.
Bayern are a big club and I  can see why he wants to stay with them and fighr for a place.   Can't see him getting much match time with them though.
We are looking at other players and I certainly wouldn't complain if we put the 5 million towards a striker with a proven goal scoring record. Could well work out better for us if we get the right player in. 
 
 

Think it's risky on say a 2 year deal, if they impress after a season and won't sign a deal then we lose for nothing and they know in that scenario more clubs will be interested.

Another 3 months of this to go. Suffering god.
