I prefer Silva more central but he has great ability so can slot in there just fine......roofe I feel would be a better fit for this game, he tires then bring on big dessers.
 
We have a massive part to play in this game , if the crowd are right behind them and as noisy as we can be then I'm pretty sure Benfica will be rather fragile.....bigger and better have crumbled under the lights at Ibrox.
If we score first Benfica will be in trouble.

It was a great result , horrible place to go made even worse I'd imagine when the players find out they smashing goals past dundee.........this weekend is super important , us at home to the Mwell who I'm confident we will get a result and positive performance , the mhamky mob need to travel to the capital to face hearts and I think we will see them slip up here.

This a potential banana skin game for me,  killie having already beaten us and taking points from the other mob means they can't be underestimated......and with the game at that rubbish pitch it makes a little more tricky.
That being said we are fluent ATM and we need to just get a result, performances have been great of late but this one I wouldn't mind a rotten performance and 3 points.

I don't think it's negative to point out we have to be more ruthless in front of goal, especially right now with things being so tight.......reminds me of 2003 when it was attack all the way those last handful of games.
 
Teams playing great, creating loads all we need to do is sink the goals......other night we should've been at least 4 up before county scored.

You can see his quality with the more games he gets , a real positive style in his play.
I hope he stays injury as I've said before I can see hi struggling in the team but looking like I was wrong on that part......onwards and upwards for this guy.

Absolutely has to go, if there is even 1 fan who thinks he can turn it around then by fuck I've heard it all.
Surely he does the right thing and hands in his notice........Absolutely the worst football I've seen us play for quite a while.

It's a bad day when our most influential player is our goalkeeper........Time and again we follow the team only to be let down constantly in the big games.
Absolutely no flow or style to our play, today celtic didn't even have to be any good to beat us and tbh they did so without too much fuss.
 
Beale should never have had waited so long to try and change it, was clear we needed a different approach at half time.....not the 66th minute or whatever it was.
 
So underwhelmed by this group of players and tbh the way its going its not going to get better.........they always seemed to have an extra guy in almost every area of the pitch. Feel sorry for guys who done a lot of running today only to be let down by those infront and behind them.
 
Going to be a long season.

We were 9 ahead before Gio came in, we had the psychological edge over them.....his first game I'm sure we were absolutely battered like we were under Pedro, his Rangers teams against celtic lost their way regardless if he managed a draw or victory.....we lost the advantage we had over them under Gio.
 
That is an absolute fact.

No way , I liked what Alfredo brought on the park ( when In shape) but for large chunks of his career  the impact on the team was detrimental......in Stevie Gs first 2 seasons I genuinely believe we would have been in with a great shot of the title had Alfredo screwed the nut on not left us without a striker in consecutive seasons causing us to fall behind and lose form at a crucial time. Twice we effectively folded at Xmas and this had a major impact for all the players in following seasons all coinciding with Alfredos temperament.
 
Sure he scored goals but tbh playing for Rangers no matter your level you really should be........I never rated Alfredos prowess at finishing but his ability to cause a problem was certainly a good asset at times.
 
No I'd never take him back and thought we held onto him for too long.

Think some are maybe too quick to jump on the band wagon , I've seen some good passages of play in our game and with a little more time I can only see good things......only negative for me is we do lack genuine width.
The new lad sima doesn't seem to be comfortable out wide for me and shows with our lack of real width.
Lammers for me looks a real threat at times but I don't feel we are utilising him properly.
Dessers will be a big goal threat and Danilo looks like he's trying to hard and things just not working for him ATM....but I believe they will.

The I'm quite happy he is gone, nothing more than a decent striker but link up play poor......paves the way for someone more involved and impact in a game.

If that is the case I feel so bad for the guy and think his career at Rangers is pretty much finished before it's even started.
I mean with his age, back from a long term injury....we will have our midfield sorted and I'm sure Beale will get it right. By the time he's back I doubt he would even be included in the plans going forward. Be a year older, contract running down etc.

So far Beale has done pretty well with players he has ear marked......if he's chosen this guy then obviously he sees something that he likes.

He had to go its that simple, Europa run aside his management of the team simply not good enough pretty much from the get go.
Next man in will be interesting and I believe whoever it is already knows they have the job.....can't see the board getting rid of him unless they had someone ear marked.

Goldson going off was imo the turning point. I really feared when I seen king coming on for him as the young lad clearly lacks experience and if im being honest I'm not convinced he's one who will command a place in our defence in the coming years although I hope I'm wrong.

I'll be there supporting the team but a blind man can see our squad and more importantly our first 11 just are not up to the standard we need......unfortunately the team has gone backwards domestically, ok we've done well in Europe but our own league is far more important and sadly we seem a bit off the pace atm.
