Boab 73
He's been superb but alike with McKay and Aird, will he be rested any time soon do you think with Hutton in the wait?
MisterC 12,272
He has done nothing to deserve getting dropped and I dont see him dropping out any time soon. Maybe over the festive period there will be changes made given how many games there will be (4 in 10 days) but I dont see that Hutton has done much to suggest he will get the shout ahead of McLeod
Redwhiteandblue 3,330
I dont think he needs it tbh. Thought the game he played on sunday was the best game he has played yet. Don't think he will need resting, with the opposition being so poor. If we were still in the top division, and he was loaned out to and SFL 3 team, you would want him playing every minute of every game.
scarkev 3,540
He's been superb but alike with McKay and Aird, will he be rested any time soon do you think with Hutton in the wait?I think down the line might be an idea to give others a run but depending on the severity of blacks injury he is going to be very important over the next few weeks! Bothwellbear 1,392
I would be loathe to leave him out after some fantastic displays, but it would be good to get Hutton some time. Its a fantastic decision to have to make. So many good young players coming through right now, and it is just going to get better. I hope that our days of big buys are gone forever and we can just be bringing in our own.
simplythebest 11,453
Started every match hasn't he?
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
To be fair, we're not playing a massive amount of games right now. Not so many options but am sure Hutton could cover for him at times. Black is our for a couple of weeks do wouldn't expect him to be rested anytime soon (even though our next game is at home to the bottom club in all of Scotland)
pcbear 10,913
If Rhys McCabe had not bolted with Ness, we would never have known about this young mans abilities so soon, cheers traitors.
bluebellsareblue82 15
Not been enough fixtures in close sucsession to talk of resting players imo.
bs1982 22
The whole team got a rest after the Elgin fiasco. No doubt with the pitches in Division 3 there will be plenty more games called off too where he can get a rest.
MuirhouseBear 291
Would like to see more of Robbie Crawford aswell. Fantastic seeing the youngsters coming in and performing so well. MacLeod has been one of the real positives to come out of this season so far.
MasterD 7,435
Didn't think he was at his best at the weekend but it was just 1 of those days. With Black injured I don't think he will be getting rested for a while.
ger50champ 300
yes please ,he isnt my favourite and he has not IMO done nearly enough for some of the comments on here and a shoe in start EVERY game since the start of the season.Hutton is far more positive and commanding and deserving of a chance

loyalfollower 1,543
I think Macleod deserves to be starting every game even infront of Ian black. The boys awareness let him down a wee bit at the start if the season, but never looked back since. He can pass move tackle and shoot

And is one of the first names on my teamsheet. IMO if Hutton was better then he would be starting.

You a pal of Hutton?
El Carpintero 546
Consistantly average. He brings nothing to the team defensively or attacking wise.
Non_Sucumbi 876
McLeod has been one of our most consistent performers. He also appears to be winning more that his share of midfield challenges. No need to 'rest' him at this stage
AlBear. 8,499
Love football. Some people think he is the most consistent player this season (me too) and yet others think he is just average and done nothing. For an 18 year old playing his first season of senior football he's been a joy to watch. I'd start him if he's fit but also I wouldn't be against giving him a wee rest. Particularly with a build up of games over the winter squad rotation will be vital. trueblueal 2,117
He won't be rested for Hutton. Ally clearly doesn't rate Hutton who i believe will leave in the summer. If he cant get a game now he never will, the writing is on the wall.
Shearer 124
I'd rather rest black and bring Hutton back into the team. McLeod had a quiet game on Sunday but I've been impressed with him and Hutton this season.
Creampuff 22,628
Whilst resting players is always important to consider, I'd be wary of halting his momentum.
Jonnyboyrfc 296
Macleod shouldn't be rested right now. Black should be benched and Hutton should be playing instead.Black hasn't been good enough all season
papaguy51 912
He needs to be rotated with Hutton more often IMO.
