Alfredo

Don't know if it was under instructions or off the cuff but the Buffalo was coming deeper than normal to receive the ball and with Greg Stewart Ojo and Arfield playing off him this caused Aberdeen endless problems, so it tactical well done Mr Gerrard and Alfredo

So happy & relieved at the same time to see us learn from previous sheep games at Ibrox.

Morelos dropping 10-15 yards away from the centre half’s was the game changer for me.

Got him on the ball more & away from the constant niggling & clashing that his normal  lone striker role attracts.

He looked to be enjoying it & it opened up all sorts of space for Stewart in particular.

thought he was immense today -- some of the cross hold up and cross feld balls you could see why he was a midfielder in his younger days.

One Aberdeen attack he headed clear from our penalty box then ran 50 yards to chase the ball down at the halfway line.

Love the wee man  --- will greet when he leaves. 🙂

Not heard anyone else say it but I believe the wee man is borderline world class........ if he keeps improving he could play for a top European/CL team. Easily.

Hope he's still here at the end of the season........ we can't win this league without him imo.

You can see too, that he is really enjoying himself, and his confidence is high.

And his temprement has improved enormously. Rather than react badly now to hard challenges and bad tackles, he so often just has a wry wee smile, picks himself up and gets on with it, knowing the opposition can't match his ability or atitude. A cocky wee bugger now maybe, but that positve attitude and cute smile is winning us all over.

Regarding his selfishness, he is actually a terrific team player, and now he is spreading himself around the park that seflessness is being seen more and more, but once he gets a sniff at goal the selfishness which all the greatest strikers have returns, and he'll go for it. His stats now are incredble, and if he was on penaties would be higher.

I think Gerrard and Defoe may have had huge input, but all credit has to go to Morelos himself after the disgraceful treatment he received last year when he was a lot more inexperienced, which could have seen him being pushed out of the game in Scotland by refs and press.

Only downside is he will move on sooner, rather than later, but hopefully with 55 in the bag.

Best player in Scottish football for a long time.

the biased press against him in last few years has kept him with us longer than would have been expected as it drove his worth down and thankfully the board were not willing to sell him for less than his worth.

It has worked in our favour though and when he inevitably goes it will be for a club record without a doubt.

just love the wee man , Alfie,el buffalo.

I do agree the only negative is he is sometimes too greedy at times.

Always looking to shoot in the box which isn’t a bad thing but you can see him taking the long way round just to get an effort away when a better pass is sometimes on.

You forget how young he actually is. He’s only going to get better and better
