Kent was being doubled up on most of the game. It’s not an easy situation for him. This team should be exploiting the space left when celtic double up on Kent and we can’t. We have no real attacking midfielder or right winger. We need to get in players who can provide us with a cutting edge from midfield. Gerrard has put a solid team together here. It just lacks goals from midfield. Everyone can see we lack a right-winger. Having a number 10 to bring on when we’re chasing a game, or trying to break down a team playing a ‘block’, would be a massive help too. I’m sure Gerrard will address at least one of these issues in January. King and Ojo haven’t worked out. Send both back to their parent clubs and bring in some quality replacements.
