His original loan was in 2021. Interest rates were 0.5% and he lent us 13 million at 6%.
If that loan got repaid after the 8 years. He will have made 7 million in additional interest over and above what he could have got at the time at a bank. 
Now the club said they exhausted all credit avenues. Including mentioning banks like Macquarie. Probably because of what happened in liquidation we weren’t offered the same terms as other clubs (eg Watford).
Also not sure how much of Bennett’s loan is securitised against the clubs assets.
So guys like Bennett were able to secure very nice returns for themselves whilst also technically benefitting the club.
He also had the option to convert those loan repayments into equity. And has also provided another 10 million credit facility. (At better relative rates this time).
Anyways the short summary is: we needed cash. They provided it in loans that need repaid back. So they aren’t just giving the club money like say a Man City owner would do.
They get a nice option on the upside of the club, a very good return on their money and play champ manager in real life.

First it was Gio's pre season that caused all the injuries, then it was Beale's pre season that caused them all.
People really need to realise Pre Season is just training and some friendlies, it's not going to be the cause of multiple years worth of injuries. 
There has to be something within our training, medical team or sports science that we're doing wrong. The consistent thing we keep seeing are smaller/short term injuries turning into long term - so either we're diagnosing them wrong, the treatment is incorrect or we're rushing them back too soon and making it worse.
Modern sports science should be able to identify a lot of muscle and tendon stresses before they turn into injuries. Players getting rested these days are less on the manager thinking they look tired and more so on the sports science teams seeing from the data that they are starting to hit limits or are at risk of injury.

Aye fingers crossed it's immaculate. Surely they won't cut any corners with this.
