He's passive, slows down our tempo and risk-averse. He also lacks courage in big games. The reason McGregor yelling "shitebag" at him probably annoyed so many of us is that we know it's true.
Yilmaz isn't perfect and has clear holes in his game, but he plays on the front foot, keeps our tempo up and isn't afraid to be aggressive. That counts for a lot.
Time to move Borna on.

For a club with our finances we need to be confident that we're going to make money on a player we're spending 5 or 6 million pounds on. Dessers looks decent, but his age means that it's incredibly unlikely we'd get our money back, never mind make a profit. Its a no from me.

£6million on a guy who will be 29 in December is an absolute no from me.

It’s an effective tactic. Everyone gets on board with it and it disrupts the player, manager, and team. They won’t stop doing it while it’s working

With Morelos away they need a new target. Standard ‘always cheated’ stiry. Try and find one of our players who is a threat and try to build a narrative amongst supporters, media and referees that he is cheating to extent that it sticks. I’d expect nothing less from wind up merchants like Sutton, someone I’m surprised is still paid in any capacity as a pundit. What is worse is when our ex players are apologists and add fuel to the fire. Cantwell has been superb in our league since coming in and we shouldn’t be standing for this nonsense.

I’m most sad to see the back of Arfield. He’s just a solid, reliable pro. Never rocked the boat, always gave 100% and was always humble.
 
I remember an interview earlier this year when, in response to a question about being offered a new contract, he said he understood he was low priority. It just showed that he put the club first and knew his place, in the best way. 
 
Wish him nothing but the best going forward.
