No, VAR would be saying in his ear that there was a potential penalty but they need to check for an offside in the build up. They'd then decide on the offside. If he's on, ref should be sent to the monitor. If he's off, restart with a goalkick because VAR doesn't influence offsides unless they result in a goal.
If he is off you restart with a free kick, if you think it is a penalty?

Feel a bit sorry for him but given he’s been given so many chances and not shown anything he has to go.
I remember pre season thinking he looked the best of a bad bunch

Aww they can clear it up by making the audio public then 🙄 that's what you would do if you were in the right.

They should be doing away with it.
Definitely, causes congestion with fixtures when games get postponed in February

Butland
Tav Goldson Souttar Yilmaz
Lundstram Dowell
Cantwell
McCausland Silva Sima
Harsh on Sterling but I can't fit him in at home to Killie
3-0 debut goal for Silva in an ideal world

Off topic, but will Goldson and Balogun be banned at same time? And will it be Killie?

It mad they think that was “a wonderful sellick performance”
Ano, it's the worst I have seen them at Parkhead against us in years, we had chance after chance.
Cant remember Butland having to make a save. Wonder strike saved the day for them

"Why are you posting these soap dodgers bastards"
Cause the rat fuck has a point.
They treat us with utter contempt, they have it in their heads we're shite before we even come out of the tunnel.
Our captain is fucking terrified about playing them. You ever hear Tav talk with such confidence and authority about facing them?
Do we fuck. Cause we have a team of fuckin pussies. So you will sit there and watch it, and learn how much of a shitebag team we are.
Hope it makes you as sick as it made me.
"They haven't played anyone yet" coming from a guy how captains a team that can't do anything in Europe and get pumped year after year!! They are so far up there own arse they believe they are good

They made the VAR decision very quickly, faster than offside checks usually happen. Nobody showed the offside for over 30 minutes after the incident, even Sky were confused by what was happening saying it wasn't mentioned on the feed they have.
They have made the right decision, but I feel the offside has gotten Collum off the hook for having a fucking howler here - I don't believe that was even checked until after the event.
100% this
-
Sportscene a fucking disgrace aswell made it look as if offside was ruled in same stoppage of play 🤣🤣

No they wouldn't as they would have checked for offside in the build up.
I don't get why so many struggle with facts, its not opinions on this one.
"If the experienced SFA official had deemed it to be a handball then no penalty would have been given as he would then have checked the attacking phase of play and seen that Sima had been offside when Lundstram supplied him"
Wrong order... They would say if it was a penalty first then check from there... No point checking the build up if you don't think it's a penalty

I agree with what your saying, however point 3 is inaccurate. The original decision of a goal kick stands, it could only be a free kick to the scum if the ref had given the penalty.
No it wouldn't, because VAR would give the pen.. Meaning to rule it out the play needs to restart from where the foul was committed

People really don't understand how VAR works.
They don't give offside if there was no decision to overturn. The goal kick correctly stood.
Correct but that means they thought it wasn't a pen which is 100% blatant cheating...
I have watched plenty games to know how it works.
Process..
1. OK that's a penalty
2. Run it back look for a foul offside etc in the lead up ( that never happened)
3. Oh Sima is offside. No penalty free kick to celtic.
That shoulda been the process of what they are saying there decision was.
None of that happened they just got lucky that Sima was offside

If the boot was on the other foot we'd be lapping up the shithousery. Can only hope it bites him in the arse but with this mob of bottlers I doubt it. Two OF games this season they've been there for the taken and we've retreated into our shells of mediocrity
If we were 8 clear with the same games played maybe.... But only 2 in it potentially.... I don't think we would be happy with Clement saying that

However, Collum believed that Walsh had been correct just to give a goal kick because he felt the celtic player's hand was in a natural position when it made contact with the ball after watching a replay back at Clydesdale House.
This makes it even more laughable. Then why is no a corner then!
Because VAR can't give a corner

What did Rodgers say?
You need to watch it.....he realises he shouldn't of said it n tries to back track... But the headlines have been written hopefully it back fires bigtime

The Goal Kick is never the outcome here, it's a penalty or a free kick to celtic, 100% dodgy!! If he was onside this woulda been massive!!
-
Get Killie pumped in the right way, and enjoy a couple of weeks of training & signings ( hopefully they are semi happy with there squad after today's result)

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water!!
Confident we will top by full time at ibrox 💙

Don't think it was ever in doubt, mind games from the St Johnstone game

There wasn't though! The penalty wouldn't of stood, it's the fact they are showing the offside because they know they made an arse of it by not saying it was a handball....
