Manager has a big problem to sort out with Cantwell. Any player would be disappointed to be played out of position but to be pushed aside for Lammers would put you over the edge. Tonight's early change was justified but it was in my opinion wrong and Lammers should have been brought off and Cantwell moved into the 10 position. 
Clement has to be looking at bringing Hagi back in January to increase the quantity in the squad. Cifuentes and Lammers are becoming a long running joke but at least he seems to have made a decision on Dessers by once again leaving him on the bench.
 

Can talk about clear outs all you like, but PC should be able to find a way to beat Aris at home, even with that squad. Manager shoulders a lot of the blame.

Zero issue with mccausland coming on. 
Issue was who came off. Cifuentes and Lammers have been much worse than Cantwell tonight. 

First cracks showing for Clement 
Should be doing everything he can to get the best out of Cantwell who has more ability than most of our squad combined rather than use him as a scapegoat while Sam Lammers and Cifu swan about running interference for the opposition 

He’s playing like he’s got boxing gloves on his feet.

I suspect Cantwell isn't good at following his personal orders in a game and goes off the reservation too much. I also suspect that is one thing Clement will not tolerate.
He'd rather have a lesser player eg Lammers who he can trust to play exactly how he tells him to.

PC has an issue with Cantwell. He has stuck him on The right and never given Him a chance. 
 
Cantwell has issues but he is streets ahead of Lammers. Have to wonder if the coach feels the need to be the Center of attention 

This is one of the worst team we will play at this level and they are doing a job on us at home.

Feel like the manager made a scapegoat out of Cantwell. Extremely poor decision when Lammers and Cifuentes are still on. Poor management 

Cantwell hooked playing out of position when you can take Lammers off and move Cantwell inside with McCausland on the right.

Cifuentes is fucking horrible.

We literally had to score 2 goals in injury time to salvage a win up there less than a year ago.

Barisic is the worst offender out the lot for me.
As poor as Tavernier, Goldson and Lundstram were today, they at least look like they care and try to put some effort in.
Barisic on the other hand, is a total coward. When the going gets tough, he literally stops putting any effort in and doesn’t even bother to pretend like he cares.
I’d be tempted to bench him until January then punt him, the only problem is our backup isn’t much better and can’t play in Europe.
At this point, I’d honestly rather have Yfeko in there, because at least he would actually try.

I don’t mean to be that guy. But I am going to be that guy. 
 
The fact that we have so many supporters this morning thinking that yesterday wasn’t that bad or just unlucky is a glaring indicator of how far our standards have fallen. 
 
In the 17 years I have been on this forum I don’t know how many times I have said this, but it bears repeating. When you have watched enough football you can see when a team is unlucky and you can see when they are not good enough and/or not working hard enough. It’s not the possession. Or the xG or the shots on and off target or the number of corners that tells you the story, it’s your eyes.
 
Barasic making the wrong choice every fucking time is not borne out in any of those stats, Center halves leaving a massive gap between them on a simple punt up the park, not taking command of headers, and having no pace doesn’t show up in possession stats. Attacking players unable to cleanly strike a moving ball, midfielders not able to dominate their opponents. 
We have players being paid fortunes getting out worked by players on a fraction of their wage. It’s not unlucky it’s unacceptable. 
 
a team with a strong mentality don’t make excuses, they deal with the situation presented and they come up with the goods when it matters. As so many others have said, we have many players that have failed under 4 managers now.
 
Yesterday was pish. 

I don’t think it’s hysteria to be questioning why once again a huge opportunity to apply pressure on Celtic has been squandered. Some of these players have been here under 4 managers now and the same question of mentality keeps rearing it’s head because situations like yesterday keep happening when those chances to close the gap come our way
