It's a tough call, right enough. I despise the fact that anyone who plays/supports the Gers has been made a pariah by the majority of the TA, but Scotland will always be home (even if I've been away for decades) so it cuts deep to feel this way about a team I've always passionately supported. But tbh, it also grates on my nerves to hear people like me disparaged by our own support as "kilt wearing trannies" or teuchters that come from wee places you've never heard of, &c. Many of my kilt-wearing ancestors were proud protestants that fought tooth and nail and died valiantly in the service of King and country.
