  1. You can expect Spongo to be arguing with this point
  2. I've been having my own doubts about Whyte over the last week or two myself to be honest. I don't think he is a Rangers fan. How could be a Rangers fan with a box, when he was residing in Monaco? "Whit a waste ae a boax" as they say in some places. Maybe he is a Rangers fan, can anyone find anything of him before regarding Rangers and attending matches? I also don't want one man (forget about Ellis, he has nothing to offer sadly in terms of finance) to run this club again. When reading about Paul Murray's takeover plans etc in the DR it all made sense. Why run the risk of having one owner again? Spread the responsibilty, the financial responsibility. He still hasn't made a bid. Although, my "gut instinct" is that it will be Thursday. If it does go through, my "gut instinct" (oh yeah, you liked it again), is that Whyte can't sustain the running of this club on his own. He will have backers and people in the background. However, I fear it won't be long until Paul Murray and his consortium of wealthy supporters really are running to save this club! Don't ask why, it truly is my gut instinct.
  3. He already has a 2 year contract running, they'd just extend that by another 4 years Really hope he signs! With him as number 1 and a back up in Alexander who is happy to remain there and be used when called for really is the perfect situation.
  4. Would bring a tear to a glass eye, Vlad! Come back next year wee fella, put the squeeze on Mancini - you know your wanted and welcome any time.
  5. Great. See you in the blue room on Thursday, Craig.
  6. Either i've read the last paragraph and final line before... or I just had heavy deja vu
  7. The big Motherwell supporter that is Tam Cowman brought it up in his "column" in Saturday's DR. Telling Rangers fans that his side will lie down to Celtic on the last day. Wee cretin he is.
  8. I think we will! We would be comfortably in front already if it wasn't for our footballing strategy this season. Just goes to show how costly dropping 12 points at home can be.
  9. I watched until he placed the ball PROPERLY on the spot. Took one last look, pulled my hood over my face, and then waited... "BANG" *ball hitting mcgregors gloves* ... "SAVEDDDDDDDD!" yabbadabba fucking doo!
  10. The worrying thing is, why is Ally pressing ahead to do deals with players on the non takeover list? why not just wait and see what materialises in the next 2 or 3 weeks ?! Seems silly rushing into things and then if we get taken over we could be left with... well to be honest, shite.
  11. Looks brilliant! You can see Weiss up in the corner when the camera looks over that way Don't understand why Ibrox isn't like this every week!
  12. Was quality when he was here!
  13. Already read through the whole thread etc, but I had to come back to this .gif' alt='default_f_doh.gif' alt='doh'>.gif'> You say you saw Whyte leaving MP, after having talks with AJ and Bain, and he was happy. You also say that there were media outlets present. So, referring to the piece in bold: The media were there and they seen Whyte leaving but if they don't report it tomorrow then it must not be true? I thought you saw it with your own eyes fella?!
  14. Not sure I understand what he actually did wrong against the law? I know he was asking for trouble and what not but even still
  15. Not disagreeing with you, but in fairness to Kenny - we made his bed, with our pathetic offer to a player who was a goal or two off the top of the Golden Boot league!
  16. My opinion too Should be brought in over the summer.
  17. It's not over until it's mathematically impossible. The sense of surrendering this title chase amongst some of you is sickening.
  18. Seen this as well  I'm sure i heard somewhere through the week that celtic have had 16 penalties this season or something?
  19. Just because Jelavic scored 1 free kick, doesn't mean he'll score them all. Davis scored one at one point, has he scored since? nope. If Jelavic was guaranteed to score almost every time there would be no doubt about him taking it. Davie Weir should have had a crack imo, lets be honest.. we would have missed it anyway.
  20. And you'd rather have Edu in there? Who can't even keep the ball at his feet when he's standing fucking still?! McCulloch's fight in the middle is being sorely missed. I can't wait for him to return!
  21. McGregor with his saves and Jelavic with his goals have easily kept us in the title race. Why this man wasn't up for any end of season awards really baffles me.
  22. United, Hearts and maybe Motherwell? Will Stuart McCall allow Motherwell to lie down/under perform if it comes to the last day? Inverness won't be easy either. We'll just have to wait and see I suppose.
  23. Abysmal, once again. He looked absolutely gutted when there was a close up of Samaras and he was walking across the screen. Thomson's CV: Sends off 2 Rangers players at the CIS Cup Final 2010, officiates poorly in the Old Firm match on the 2nd of Jan, denies Rangers a penalty and reverses a penalty decision in the CIS Cup final 2011 and today he was even worse in terms of general decisions.
