his chasing, pressing, harrasing, fucking smothering was a good part to why they could not get near our goal!!!

Effort was there, though first 20 mins or so of 1st half I thought he was a bit too sloppy at times. Unlucky with his chance.
Their 1st goal he was right to make the interception, but using his right would have cleared it instead of his left knocking it central.
On the whole though thought he improved considerably as 1st half wore on, and in the 2nd half. Certainly gets pass marks.

Glad to see Gio had a cunning plan tonight.

Thought Kent, Bassey, Jack and Lundstram were immense. Very hard to single people out though. So many good performances 

It's happened every second half for the last 6 months or so, pretty much. Start fairly strong but it's a running joke now that they'll come out with butter fingers after half time  - evident against South Africa the most, and equally England - despite the 7 point gain to win.

Not sure how a centre back is meant to stand out in a game where the other team pose zero attacking threat
