I'm sorry but I can't agree with that at all, I don't think any of last night's team can be accused of that, and I am actually surprised that a Rangers fan should even think that!
The majority of the team were in the squad that has just gone a season undefeated in the league, they are hardly the types to 'steal wages'.
The players had an off day, simple! Some days you have one or two players having an off day, yesterday, for whatever reason, the majority were having an off day.
Tav and Barisic, our two best crossers of the ball from the wings, both didn't deliver all night, normally if one's having an off day the other delivers, it didn't happen last night, it was the same in other areas of the park, off days happen.
Apart from the 'heads in the clouds' moments 3 mins into the second half, what did McGregor have to do, apart from one save in the first half?, not a lot. We were fortunate to get the goal at the end which gives us a good fighting chance in the second leg, through luck or not, we are still well in this.
Get that game out the players minds, it happened, it wasn't pretty, sort things out at the training ground and move on.
Stealing a wage??? no, just too many having a bad night.

If Alfredo isn't deemed to be ready next week then IMO Sakala has to start, we can't start with Itten again he's just to ponderous in possession, we will need to be at it right from the 1st whistle and it was pretty obvious when Sakala came on last night that he was forcing their defence into more hurried clearances by being in their faces, clearances that more often than not fell to one of our players enabling us to start attacking again, even if most of our attacks came to nothing it did give us the opportunity to keep pushing forward, now I understand that the wee fella has only played a couple of games for us and we don't yet know if he'll be the answer but he'll definitely keep their defence occupied a hell of a lot more than Itten and hopefully if not him then he'll create openings for others.

Not sure whether I should ask this now,  but what was the reason given for changing the away goals counting double? I'm old enough to remember it 1st being introduced and the reason was to encourage the away team to attempt to try for a goal/goals away from home making it a more entertaining game as before the rule was introduced away teams would go abroad and shove 9 men behind the ball and punt it now and again to some poor cunt up front hoping to get a 0-0 to take back to their own ground, and at least have an extra 30mins if needed, which was great it you're drawn away 1st leg.
It made for some really boring football but the away goals rule helped to change that, so I'm asking what's to stop teams/coaches reverting back to similar tactics that would make Livingston look like innovators of modern football, I seriously think this is a step backwards and feel like the authorities are just making change for changes sake, or am I missing something?

I have no doubt that the reason we are taking this stance is that it would harm Park's business.
I doubt our contract with Park's whatever it is, will be the contract we are using to try and get round it.
I have no idea if we have signed a contract with Parks or anyone else who allows us to use this clause or not, but I hope we have.
At the end of the day, I think we should really be beyond the point of criticising the board for only looking after themselves. This seems to have become a fashionable stance.
In reality the board have not stopped funding our spending gaps, they have given Gerrard the money required to get the players he wants and they have refused to sell our star players for knockdown bids.
As far as I am concerned, Parks can tell them to fucking ram their deal where the sun doesnt shine.

Think I may have solved Angie"s defensive problem for him, seeing as how none of his goalkeepers are any fucking use why not play without one then he could have 3 CB's in defence.
Shit forget it, you would need 3 CB's who knew what they were doing for that to work.

Tomorrow is the start of the season for the famous. It’s more than any normal season in any other year. We start as champions and we start our 150th year in existence. Our 55th league trophy sits at the top of the marble staircase bedecked in the colours of our beloved Union. We know what the haters will say but it is fuelled by the knowledge that they know that we are back. Back in our rightful place looking down at who’s in the chasing pack. We will soon be back at our spiritual home. The Rangers family together and the stadium will again shake Govan to its core. We will once again hear the champions league anthem ring around our majestic home the echos of which will be heard throughout our city. There will be others hurting right now but nothing like the hurt we lived through for the last ten or so years. We could have lost what we love and what was bestowed upon us by our fathers and grandfathers that followed before us. This season and beyond is for them and for the ones we have lost along the way. Enjoy tomorrow and the rest of the season. We won’t get complacent because better never stops.
Never Surrender. Not Now. Not Ever.

Booing the players for taking the knee is no benefit to us. It will accomplish nothing more than severely pissing off our players who are vitally important to our club and making our support look bad when the BBC run the highlights of it repeatedly all over the UK.
I don't support taking the knee or BLM at all and I wish the kneeling would stop but our players on the pitch won't see your boo's as an anti-political/anti-BLM protest, they'll only see us as racists. It doesn't matter what your intent is.
If you can't keep your mouth shut for 3 seconds then make sure you enter the stadium after kick off, then you won't have to deal with it.

We don’t have to back anything  tbh just don’t fucking boo, if the players feel it’s the right thing to do let them get on with it, it’s all we’re asking, if you disagree with it just keep quiet for a few seconds then get on with backing the team it’s not hard fs  respect our players right to protest in whatever way they feel necessary.

I have no issues with them taking the knee, but I do wonder why the players have decided to start taking the knee again after one of our senior players declared that it had become a “token gesture” a few months ago and we stopped doing in after the Kamara Kudela situation.

Although they've never been used they are still better value than Barkas.
