Might be the right thing for the club, but I'm still sorry that it ends for him like this. Some of the comments on here are appalling.
The man I regard as the last real Rangers man in the club is leaving. So no Ally, no Sandy, no Walter. We are a shadow of what we once were.

Utterly deflated by the news, Iv never wanted someone to succeed as a Rangers manager as much as I did with McCoist.
I'm glad he came to the correct decision and he leaves with the utmost respect for not taking a payoff.

Unbelievable what the man has been through the last few years and i'll never forget how he steadied the ship as best he could.
Needs a very long break and i hope he comes back as ambassador at some point.

Look it might be clyde but this team have got it stinking from all of us for 3 games now. I think at times we should learn to praise them when they play well. We are far too many and critical IMO.
We've done all we could in this match and scored some great goals. It's a lot more like it and maybe just exactly what's required
