Would be amazing to bang in a few goals and put the pressure on, but I'll settle for a 97th minute 1-0 win off Dessers' arse at this point.

Im not convinced. Hearts will seldom face a low block so they might be presented with better opportunities.
So you and @Rangers_no1 reckon it's *easier* to score goals for Hearts than it is for Rangers? 🤔

Nope. Read it.
Dessers has hit 43 shots in the SPFL so far this season. 2 hit the woodwork, 26 were on target and he’s scored 10 (ie 23% of his shots have resulted in goals)
Haaland had a strike rate of 34% in the EPL last season when he scored 36 goals from 106 shots.
If we held Dessers accountable to Haaland’s conversion rate then he should be on 15 in the SPFL by now.
So he’s 5 short of where he should be if we’re going to compare him statistically to the most prolific striker ever to have played in the Premiership.
Closer to home, Shankland has scored 17 goals in the SPFL this season, having taken 68 shots (ie 25%) .
If Dessers matched Shankland he’d have scored 11 (rounded up from 10.75). Yet folk think Shankland is infinitely better than Dessers.
What does Shankland do when he misses with 75% of his shots? Is he squandering them? If he came to Rangers would his similar miss rate to Dessers be accepted?
I'm no big Shankland fan, but you've got to think that we produce a better quality of chance than Hearts.

Matondo and Cantwell onto the bar were cracking.

Watching him last night, with that opener and the effort off the post, I thought "Alfie could never have done that". And we fucking loved that wee mad bastard.

Dessers hasn't really been a hinderence in us getting level with celtic, in fact he's been one of the biggest contributors along with Tav and Sima.
A bigger gripe should be goals from elsewhere though Matondo and Cantwell are doing their bit to correct that and I'll be surprised if we dont see more from Silva and Cortes on that front.
All strikers will have games like tonight where they miss chances but still get 2 important goals and have a game like St Mirren where they get 1 chance and score it
Since PC came in he's had 908 minutes in the league and scored 9 goals (1 every 101 minutes). For reference, he's starting to get to Colak levels of just getting the goals. Colak before his injury had 1055 minutes scoring 10 goals (1 every 105 minutes). We've got Dessers on a run where he scores 2 goals every 3 matches.
He's also getting important goals. His two goals against Hibs and the one at Dens were scored when the game was done but he got the opener against Livi and St Johnstone, got the equaliser against Dundee at home, got the winner against St Mirren and put us up twice tonight.
He's not the most convincing guy but he's been doing a pretty reliable job up there since PC came in and certainly since Danilo got his injury.
Also worth remembering how many Danilo has missed from 2 yards out.

Wright looks up there, sees no cunt, and hoofs it into the box anyway.

That's literally what VAR were checking for. It might have been but wasn't. What's he meant to say? 😂😂😂
He was saying it as he was watching the replay with his own eyeballs.

Listen to that ginger eyelashed arsepiece trying to say Matondo's header might have been a handball. A fucking cockroach.

Looked at the highlights. These fucking arseholes were actually expecting a VAR intervention for the Killie goal. Throwing the hands up as if they've been robbed when the ref points at the centre spot.
