Same with a lot of players.

Arfield got his start at RC after his Aberdeen goals and was awful and hooked at the hour mark.

Maybe Arfield would have been a better option, but maybe he would have been worse. The fact this is a discussion shows how bad our depth is.

Arfield is an impact sub and not a starter. He would have been better than Wright or Sands

Had it since covid season so 3 season's and counting, had a ST for years until we got to the Championship then had to give it up due to work/finances.

Managed to get to a lot of games still buying tickets for single games but because a lot of them were not through Rangers then it never added on to mygers, I do agree that those with the most points should get 1st dibs but just feels like your constantly getting shafted.

Buying the 2 cup games before it was just a waste of time & money.

So you are a glory hunter then? It’s a bonus to get the semi final tickets but being a supporter should mean you support the team even when they are playing less glamorous games

The performances prove that the tactics are no use. A decent manager could see this and adapt accordingly. From what we have seen of Gio so far he is not adaptable and is lost as how to change the course of a game, or even make simple clever substitutions. Most of the forum today we're calling for Alfie to come on second half and drop a defensive mid, against a bottom of the league Dundee Utd who have been leaking barrow loads of goals to everyone including poor Scottish teams, yet we manage to make them look competitive at Ibrox under this sham of a manager Just not acceptable!!

Reminds me of Warburton with his no plan B

I do agree that the "old boys" seemed to do well for big parts of tonight. But given jack's injuries, the fact Davis was an afterthought when it looked very much like he was leaving, and arfield is definitely on the home straight - do we not think that there should have been someone pushing for each and every one of those places in the squad?

Especially given the fact that just a few months ago we were Europe league finalists. And we had qualified for the £hampions league before the tf window closed.

I hate to take part in a pile on but FFS our recruitment department or lack thereof has been shown with their arse out in Woolworths window tonight

I can’t disageee with what you’re saying. It’s not good. Ross Wilson needs to go.

Thought we were pretty competitive. Gio put the grafters in who we know can rely on for a shift.

Even at 1-0 you’re still in with a (small) chance until the workshy duo came on.

Shambles we’re still playing the likes of McGregor, Jack, Davis and Arfield though. Recruitment is a disgrace.

Sorry I can’t agree about Jack and to an extent Arfield. I thought after Jack went off we went to pieces. Arfield has been good for a goal when needed but I feel he’s probably more an impact sub. McGregor didn’t do anything wrong either. It’s funny out of all the new signings the best players are the old ones

EDIT I just reread your post and I apologise. I thought you were saying it was wrong to start them but you were saying it’s disgraceful we are still relying on them!
