I don't get to Ibrox as much as I would like. Was there today and got that familiar feeling I will always get, looking up at the stadium as I approach and it took my breath away. Don't get me wrong I've been plenty of times, but that awe never goes away. I had it the first time I went as a wee boy, and I get it now. 
I fucking love Ibrox, if I do at some point get a season ticket or go more often I don't expect that awe to change. I'm still buzzing from being there. 
Wish we had won today but ah well. I feel good about our squad and high hopes for the season. 

It's another one where you can't help but feel there would be days of national soul searching if it was Barry Ferguson, Tom Stoltman and Jean Johansson singing FTP.

I usually leave every game after 60/70 minutes but sat through extra time at Hampden just so i could say goodbye to Goldson, Davis and Mcgregor and now they’re all signing new deals.

The club in my view need to be held to account for last night too if it’s true that Frankfurt officials reacted prior to the game.

It was that bad last night that I honestly thought there was potential for mass casualties like other football disasters.
UEFA put on all that pish on the park before hand with the lights and dancing to signify the importance of the event, but they can't even ensure access to the most basic human entitlement to those who paid money to be there.

My boy came home from school and asked to watch the game with me tonight as it might never happen again.

I flew out to Venice (stealth I've been to Venice thread) on Monday from Glasgow. We were at the airport 4 hours before the flight and between slow bag drop and ridiculous security ques we made it by seconds, and that was at a sprint They were literally telling us on the tannoy our bags were about to be removed as we reached the gate. There were a good few who missed the flight. Also read Manchester is the same atm. So if you're leaving from either of these I'd be at the airport a good 6 or 7 hours before departure. Would have to think anyone went to the trouble and expense of going and fell at the first hurdle 👍
 
Also don't get mongoed, don't give them an excuse to refuse you.
And have an FFP2 mask. People were getting refused for having normal masks and being made to buy them but given the amount of people thay will be flying in those days they well sell out and you'll be humped.

Hotel I've booked seems to have a great rooftop pool, thinking I'll check out the spots late morning, have a warm up beer or two, go back for a swim and a poolside late lunch, bevvy by the pool and get some shade until heading back out when the sun goes down a bit later. Will honestly expire if I was out all day drinking in 35 degree heat and I paid a fortune for the hotel so I'm drinking by the pool to get the most out of the thieves. Turning this in to a holiday while I'm at it.
