When I heard he’d been allocated a ticket I started pooling up. All the nerves and anxiety for days of potentially missing a final ticket by a single MyGers point came pouring out at once. We both struggled to sleep for days when we knew he was initially a point under the indie threshold.
I already had our flights and accommodation booked since Braga in the quarters, so I think that contributed to my emotion.
