The issue for me is him claiming we can’t compete with CL sides and then dropping points to Livingston and St Johnstone. He can’t have it both ways.

To me that translates to we want to sack him but we are using this as an excuse because we don't want to dish out the money for it out of our own pockets.
The sooner the fans get fully on board with directing all their energy and attention at the board and some of the execs the better. If these players and the manager are what we have for the foreseeable all we can do is support them. The focus needs to be 100% on the people making the decisions behind the scenes.

They probably do see it but are reluctant to sack him as it will cost them.

Not fucking true, by the way... remember Beale/Gerrard? We had midfielders covering those positions, so its a tactical problem, and we did it last season.

If all fit, Goldson, Souttar, Hagi, Jack, Roofe and Lawrence starting or at least on the bench giving us good options.
Again, if Morelos hadn’t returned from long term injury with a stinking attitude he would have been a first team pick.
Do you agree if those players were all fit and available things would most likely be very different?
As it stands Gio’s just not getting the best out of the players who are still available and that’s against the level of opposition we’re playing in the SPL, it’s not good enough.

Sorry. McGregor has more than made up for leaving in 2012. He has been an amazing servant to the club in both his spells. I was passed off that he left the way he did and didn’t TUPE over but that’s ancient history and his contribution since returning has been fantastic. 
 
But we said our goodbyes last season and he should have been replaced. 

11 goals in 12 league games (which is still our bread and butter) but we need better and he shouldn’t be a first pick
 
 
 

I get where you are coming from with regards to overall play but slightly harsh I think. He’s scored some brilliant goals while the team is really struggling and under performing. If we were to hit some kind of form and play fast attacking football he could score for fun in the SPL

Let's see him a few more times against the fenians to see if this is the case.

Agree with the gist of this. You can’t knock his goal return in the league but he’s a man down against decent opposition.
Great to have as an option but much better needed.

That'll be the Kris Boyd who has scored +200 goals more than any one else in the SPFL.  A Croatian Kris Boyd will do for me. 

Good for him that he’s in the provisional squad for Croatia. Hope for his sake that he makes the final, smaller squad, although it probably benefits us if he doesn’t.

Slight tongue in cheek tbh, he merits a place in the squad but we need better & he shouldn't be first pick. Good finisher but pretty limited overall. He is exactly what £1M gets you -  a 29 yr old journeyman striker.
That said we need better all over park.

Confirmation bias. Folk have decided someone’s shite, and they make a mistake and that’s what they latch onto rather than seeing anything else.

Plenty of aggression and attacking play, plus we absolutely peppered their goal. If we had scored 8 or 9 Aberdeen would have had no complaints. That’s the team that was sitting 3rd in the league before today. 
What put the biggest smile on my face was seeing Tav pop up at the back post with a goal. We’ve missed it all season long
