Aaron Donald announced his retirement from the NFL today. Just what I needed after yesterday’s loss - more thoroughly depressing news. 🙁

He set a standard for himself last night, don’t know if it’s ability, mentality or bad luck but when we concede a really shite goal he seems to be in about it.
There’s been a few games this season my view on him has been he had a good game apart from the goal we conceded which isn’t sustainable.

Danilo headers against Hearts and St Johnstone are goals that Dessers doesn’t score, don’t even think he’s scored a headed goal.
He runs about but it’s without real purpose or aggressive intent, he doesn’t leave anything on the CB.
Roofe can’t do much but when he did come on he at least jumped into the CB and slid into a challenge to try and disrupt, Dessers does very little of the ugly side of the game which is needed in our league.

He runs but too often ineffective in what he's doing compared to what he should be. 
How many times does he block the keeper when he runs to close down? Never.
How many times does he chase down and block or tackle a defender in possession? Very rarely 
How many times does he block the defender's forward pass with his angle of run and force the play to be defensive rather than across or forward? Rarely.
How many times does a defender in possession stroll away from him into midfield? Repeatedly.
That's lazy play in doing what needs done out of possession by a CF even if he is jogging towards players. There's no zip about him out of possession it's largely going through the motions. 

Excellent tonight in all aspects of the game, probably his best performance for us, hope he keeps it up for the remaining games.
