We certainly could and should have done more in the league but I believe bringing the winter break forward cost us the title, you are correct about them not being an amazing side.

Very sad with the passing of 2 club legends in Walter and Jimmy.
Our Management team buggering off and leaving us in the lurch was a major setback.
But with GvB and his team. I think we have the right people to take us forward.

I'd say no but not a total failure either. 
If we'd won on Wednesday then that would have blown any other achievement by them or anyone else out of the water. It would have been better than them winning the league by a mile.
We didn't but getting to a European final is a huge accomplishment for a team built on a shoestring from a backwater league.
Winning the cup today adds a bit of shine to the campaign as well but losing the league to a team that I will always believe are inferior to us is a hard one to take.

Reached a European final and brought a cup back to Ibrox we have been missing for 13 years. League was disappointing but that was our doing and not the result of some amazing celtic side 

I was just reading some comments on Alfredo’s Twitter post when a wee switch went off in my head. Every tweet from Rangers, about Rangers or even just associated with Rangers distantly, is full of tarriers. 
I have joked in the past about how they hate us more than they love their own team but it isn’t actually even a vague joke now. It’s absolutely certain. They were established in opposition to us and the need to hate us has never left them.
The mad thing is if we follow our own fans on Twitter, listen to our own fan media like Heart and Hand and get our banter from Rangersmedia I genuinely wouldn’t have a clue what they are up to. With just a wee bit more effort I could just about pretend they don’t exist. The apathy with which their title win has been received is glorious. No one gives a fuck, everyone still wants to talk about Rangers. That’s what makes them so bitter and petty.

RANGERS fans have been slammed by music legend Dexys Midnight Runners after singing 'We hate Catholics' in the build up to Europa League Final in Seville.
Footage has emerged showing a large group of supporters gathered outside a bar Albufeira, Portugal, singing the offensive song ahead of their Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
 
I hope to fuck we adopt one of their shit songs to annoy them even more.

Its always a completely different atmosphere at away games in Europe compared to domestic away games. Not just cause of the occasion. But cause there is, in my small experience of it (been to 5 away games outwith Scotland), its a more friendly atmosphere.
When we were in Stuttgart in 09 I was at the game and ended mistakenly in a Stuttgart supporters club before the game and we got such a warm welcome that we went back there after the game and were sharing drinks and stories with the Germans and the closest thing to trouble was one guy who came up saying they should have won and that was it.
In England most of the fans and communities we go to love us.
I was at Osasuna too and the trouble was caused by the polis, I drank in a pub with Rangers fans and Osasuna fans till about 4 in the morning and it was great. 
Night and say compared to Scotland and no need to be bitter. Usually if a team knocks us out if their fans have been good at Ibrox and away I end up hoping they go on to win it.
We are hated by most in Scotland and respected by most fans in the rest of the world.

I'm sure Hamburg fans set up an RSC way back maybe 30-40 yrs ago.
