I would imagine due to its listed status all we can do to the main stand is replace the glass and repaint all the metal work.

We sat in CD4 for the Bury game and you can see the difference with the new cladding. Still the front section to do and reinstall the lettering.
Will be good to see the other two stands done. Would love to see the yellow screens replaced with blue ones but I doubt that'll happen probably just clear ones.

Last year we posted the incredible tale behind this wonderful painting by our own Tom Vallance from 1891 and how it had been found in a cupboard at Ibrox.

We met with the Club to discuss restoring the painting which would be funded by the Restoration of Rangers Graves Project and Club 1872.
The Club agreed to let artist Helen Runciman, who has painted among many others our Founders and Tom Vallance portraits, carry out the restoration work.
The work is now complete and this priceless gem will be unveiled at the top of the Marble Staircase at Ibrox Stadium this Saturday evening at 7.15pm. This will be before  Champions League Final event which is sold out.

Just a shame McCoist's wee soundbyte about never forgetting who kicked us when we were down didn't last long - months later he was criticising the fans for non-existing death threats to the transfer embargo panel and then after that saying he was disappointed that Hearts never got to host the Ramsdens final instead of Hibs as they were in administration or needed the money, despite them being the first ones to vote us out the leagues. I don't have time to read all of that link but I think it was right we agreed to pay our footballing debts - I'd have also went one step further and said the first couple of million from the 24-million Green raised from the share issue to pay off the rest of the debts to your average man and company. It's only fair. Not everyone agree's with me tho.
