Barisic has comfortably provided more assists than anyone else in our team this season, even more than the numbers machine that is Tavernier. Well aware of his defensive frailties and other weaknesses but putting that stat out there for a bit of balance as you would think he offered absolutely nothing reading some of the posts in here which is completely untrue.

Given that Saturday-Wednesday-Saturday is pretty much going to be the way of it until December then Jack will provide some cover for injuries/suspensions. Also gives Beale the chance to rest someone on one of the Saturdays. 1 extra year for Jack is the economy way of achieving that.

Cantwell and Raskin have restored my belief in the manager. He knows a player when he sees one. Lets wait and see what the summer brings.

Players struggle to get fitter during a season. They train a couple of hours a day, a few days a week. It's top up stuff. If they really try to get back to full fitness then imo this clashes with the rest they get before and after games.  I honestly think if folk don't start a season with a full pre season fitness then they'll not get there during the season if they also play in top team games as Raskin has done.

That’s an utterly ludicrous statement to make. He’s 19 years old with about 10-15 teams chasing him. He clearly has huge potential and signing players with potential has to be a massive part of our model going forward.
