I actually think appointing McCall as temporary manager as we did made sense.
I think Warburton made sense.
Pedro was a mental appointment.
Gerrard was a huge gamble that did come good.
Gio made sense at the time.
I stand by Beale as being the worst appointment of the lot.

I think the board somehow reconcile this approach with when Smith got the job. They completely ignore how much experience Smith actually had before stepping up or even joining us, albeit not being #1.
