Loads of us said it, a fresh start and a clean slate was needed. Someone with no attachments to these players who would be ruthless in seeing the dross that needed to be cut from our squad 

What we got was the exact opposite

In the end we cut useful to semi useful players in Sakala and Colak to replace them with Sima and Dessers 

Fuck me even the mega shite iterations of Kent and Kamara from last season were better than dross like Cifuentes

Gio had to go when he did, but if he had been backed, supported and given the level of free reign that Beale was then there’s no way we would be in as much of a mess as we are right now.

His football was really conservative, too much so, but at least you could understand or see what he was trying to do.
