Was thinking of taking a few lessons at that golf it at old lethamhill.

Sheils is good, golf life is good too with tubes n Ange playing with ex fitbaw players etc. Just don't watch the cantwell one. 
Best thing you'll ever do golf wise is get a couple lessons tho, then work on what you've been shown to do on the range.

Been gradually getting back in to golf after giving up at 16. I got the same set as you from Affordable Golf. They've been good so far, the irons are pretty forgiving and a decent weight and feel to them them. Rescue club and 5 wood are good, Driver I tend not to use as much because I can't fix my slice off the tee...(reason I gave up when I was younger). Putter is a bit meh, but does the job. I'll probably change it first when I can justify it/play more.
Overall it's a decent set for me starting out again and the bag is good too. Ideal for you starting out I think.

I’ve been going to the new driving range at old lethamhill the last few weeks, decided I’m going to get into golf cos I’m enjoying it.  After days of videos and reviews I decided to go for it and buy the steel shaft 13 set cobra fly xl from affordable golf.  I’m quite tall and it was between them and a cheaper set that I’ve watched reviews for tall players.  Went for them as they look a bit better and are clearly for beginner to intermediate level golfers rather than pure beginner.  Hopefully, I stick this and maybe a few years done the line get myself a proper custom set made up if I’m constantly playing.   Next day delivery and driving range tomorrow so hopefully get to use them.
