It’s not really a fleeting moment though.
Excluding penalties he still has 20 goals and assists and that’s playing next to guys like Wright and McCausland for half the season. He’s basically carried our entire right side attack whilst also being part of a defence that’s conceded 3 less goals than celtic.
He’s comfortably the best full back in the country. And probably been one of the best players in the league before the wheels came off.  
There’s legitimate criticisms to be made about his captaincy, lack of leadership, old firm mistake and mentality. But his general play has been very good this year. 
There’s a reason Clement has run him into the ground. Because he sees him as that important to the team.

Managers that throw players under the bus usually don’t last long. We need to stumble over the finish line this year as best we can and see how the chips fall. If we somehow pull it together in the Scottish cup and do a double and miss out on the league by a few points then based on what clement inherited I think you have to say clement has been successful (it’s what I wanted him to do)

I disagree with Clement there but feel it's a bit of a no win situation really. If he agreed with Sterling then we all know that the players Sterling was meaning would chuck it even more.

I just find it baffling that we are on for a treble,were favourites to win the league, and....the belief just dies with the finish line in site.
I cannot understand how enough people in the team - people who have had the discipline and drive to make it in professional sport - can collectively lose that drive. I cannot comprehend that.

Sterling won the ball in a 30/70 challenge last night in the middle of their half in the centre of the park when he’s playing left back.
Compare it to goldson who’s made how many mistakes in the last 3 games and looks like a rabbit in the headlights.
