God i dont even know when to start. But first to say this - if Bassey stays around for long hes a future captain material. What a hero. The best example on the park and his link up play with Kent is unreal. Fantastic performance by Morelos and Kent, and especially Kent deserved a goal. The amount of energy hes showed yet again in the late stages of a game is insane.

Gio had it spot on, and surprised everyone, especially BVB with the change in tactics. What a second half performance though. We got ourselves into a difficult situation and managed to turn it around without too much stress. Yes, we showed characted. Hopefully we can do in the league and get that 56th over the line. Some people around me voiced frustrations tonight when we sat in a low block while St Johnstone enjoyed a spell on the ball, but I’m perfectly fine with us doing that. 
There’s a maturity to GVB’s tactical style. It’s solid, responsible and pragmatic without losing impact going forward. It offers so much flexibility in this league and teams aren’t exploiting us like they were earlier in the season - the tactics are tweaked game-to-game, moment-to-moment. It’s meticulous and you can see the opposition running out of ideas.
I feel very confident watching Rangers under this new management team.

The board rolled the dice with this appointment.  Putting a rookie manager in charge after the utter failures of McCoist and Murty seemed like we were repeating past mistakes.  Luckily for us Gerrard is the real deal.  We're playing a very modern 4-3-3 counter pressing system that must've been inspired by the way Liverpool play.  Gerrard trains with these guys everyday and knows who can do a job for us and who can't.  I really do think he can bring us success.  If he wins us the league this year he'll be an Ibrox legend.  

Glad Gerrard resisted the temptation to play Steven Davis at left back tonight.................
