Looking at the poll results, I think there's a realisation that this season it's likely a step too far to think about winning the league.
But that doesn't mean we should tolerate results like previous seasons or a lack of progress in how the team is developing.
So I don't believe there will be a clamour for him to be sacked, even if we're a poor second. But I do if we are that position or worse and we show a consistent lack of cohesion in play, bottle it against the top end teams, he continues to play out of form or shite players, his tactics are dross etc.
He gets until next season minimum from me but he needs to show a level of capability too which I don't think is wrong at Rangers.

Don't see why we couldn't play the players in our 1st team squad against each other. A proper competitive 90 min game.
His preferred 9 plus sadiq and coulibaly at the expense of Morelos plus any midfielder.
Tell the 2nd team to prove they deserve to be taking the place of the player in their position in 1st team. And if Middleton for instance performs better than Murphy or Windass then fuck it, play him on Thursday.
Too many coasting and thinking they're guaranteed picks, need a rocket up their arses.
This would likely be competitive enough and benefit the full squad not just the new 2 guys and the rest of the starting 11. Ruffle a few feathers too.

Never heard of the fuckers at all. Not really interested to be honest as you have to beat what is in front of you. We have to do our own job properly and stop thinking of the opposition any further than their preferred formation, apart from that fuck them and get on with it.

Nothing better than coming home to your mrs after a 7 day bender, heavy come down - heavy spoon, near greeting telling her she comes first before the football and you’re gonna square up and never do it again.

I've defended Morelos countless times on here and genuinely thought he had potential and something about him,but nah my patience has ran out with him he's woeful as are Candieas,Windass and Murphy none of these are good enough for a title winning side.

I’m not sure there’s anything quite as sad as the ‘tartan army’.
They are not the only pathetic ones, for sure, there’s pokemon hunters and the like who are disturbing in their own unique way, but as a package they are surely in a league of their own.
I see a few have strayed from the flock to go pester the Russians. There is nowhere they wont go, nothing they wont wear in order to get the attention they crave, presumably denied them throughout their childhood. The uniform is predictable… the ‘4 season old’ Scotland top, the cheap tartan kilt, the Asda trainers …and always the BO. Their target is always the same too, the policewoman, the female journalist.. hopefully with a camera around to capture the moment. You would almost think they have been starved of female attention (Shurely not!).
Outside of the uniform they would rightly be condemned as sex pests, but in this guise they can escape justice…and how they love acceptance of their own kind. Obviously loners, isolated and almost certainly bullied throughout their schooldays they have finally found their own kind, found where they belong.
The disturbing thing is that these sad, laughable figures are in the eyes of many people representing our country.

35 Yard Dangerman reacted to The Moonlighter in The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project. Archie Steel.
During the course of our research we recently located the final resting place in Craigton Cemetery Glasgow of Archie Steel.
Archie Steel joined Rangers in 1876 and was a member of the first Rangers team to win a Trophy, the Glasgow Merchants Charity Cup in 1879.
That Trophy is today on display within the Football Museum at Hampden.
Archie Steel played for the Club for 6 seasons.
While we were at Kinning Park Archie was one of ‘’ The Moonlighters’’ . This was a name given to the Rangers players by the locals as our lads often trained late into the night honing their skills.
Using the pen name Old International he wrote a wonderful book 25 Years of Football which was published in 1891.
He died on 17th April 1928, three days after the Rangers ended a 25 year wait for the Scottish Cup after beating celtic 4-0.
The stone has been re-erected and a Memorial Plaque funded by The Restoration of Rangers Graves Project has been placed at the grave of Archie Steel.
The stone will be cleaned in due course.
    Gone but never forgotten.

fucking hell, i thought i was harsh at times.  but pretty much spot on.  how cunts have came to accept players like windass and tavernier as, lets say acceptable players at best for us is beyond me and shows how much the last 6 years has really fucked with us

Like I tried to tell you, I listened to you long ago and was respectful to your opinion but then I saw you show none to anyone else's so why should you get any back?
Just because I have come to the same conclusion as everyone else - eg you're fucking nuts - doesn't mean I am not thinking for myself. Are you trying to say in order to think for yourself you must always come to different conclusions than everyone else? Hope not
You sound like a fucking American, "ya all gotta be positive, keep those grins an we'll get those wins", brain dead nonsense.
If you never believe that you do anything wrong, then you never learn or improve
This is the hard-hitting real life, Rangers has always been a ruthless club, if you're not good enough and can't do it under pressure - bye bye.
It's a shame you don't seem to understand the very attributes that made the club great, you're the one that is misaligned to the club's philosophy, so stop complaining when others are in agreement with it.

If booing from the crowd "has a dramatically negative effect on performance" I don't hold out much hope of a performance during the Old Firm games at Parkhead.  In all seriousness, these players are professionals and require the mental toughness needed to play for a club of this size.  If booing, a few tweets, or bad press gets to them psychologically then they're never going to make it as Rangers players.

    35 Yard Dangerman reacted to D'Artagnan in RSC's - Our Lifeblood ?
A quick trawl through online dictionaries provides a variety of similar and succinct definitions for “Lifeblood”.
“a vital or life-giving force or component”
“the indispensable factor or influence that gives something its strength and vitality”
“the thing that is most important to the continuing success and existence of something else”
RSC’s are not comprised of people who view themselves as “uber fans”, who consider themselves better or more deserving than others, they are just a group of bears who, most probably for geographical reasons, have aligned themselves together with the common purpose of following and supporting the club we love.
They have evolved significantly since the days of their forerunner – the brake club, a name given honouring the mode of transport. A brake was large horse drawn carriage which could transport 20-30 people and brake clubs often had their own distinct banner in much the same way our modern RSC’s have their distinct logos. What a sight to behold that must have been!
With the development of both motorised transport and the railways the days of the brake as a form of transport were numbered, but not so the recognised value of Rangers fans uniting together with the common purpose of following and supporting the club they loved.
The modern-day RSC is a vital component part of the Rangers community with many more far reaching benefits than just transport. It serves to bring together like minded Rangers supporters who otherwise would have been strangers. I have in my phone 23 names which would not had been there had I not joined my local RSC. These are guys I speak with, rip the piss out of (always reciprocated) and socialise with on an almost daily basis. Our local RSC is effectively networking, bringing together people with a shared mission and vision. Collectively it serves to ignite the flames of passion for our football club. It is vital, it is strength giving and it is indispensable.
Networking with other RSC’s is a further benefit, and on several occasions now we have enjoyed the hospitality of our friends in the Toryglen True Blues. Their passion and desire for our club is epitomised on the Rangers website “Buses leave 20 Social Club, Rutherglen for every Rangers game in Scotland and to every away European game that is reachable by bus” One can almost feel the “come hell or high water” oozing out of that!
For a club which draws its support from all over Scotland and beyond the local RSC serves as the focal point for the Rangers diaspora, and one only has to look at the incredible work and achievements of the Plymouth True Blues, @ThePTBs1988 for those on twitter, as a shining example.
Of course, irrespective of the many collateral benefits of an RSC, transport to and from games remain their primary function. The local Rangers Supporter Bus provides not only an essential service, but also by their character and nature, an indispensable service. They bridge the gap in the lack of provision afforded by public transport. With their localised pick ups and unique dropping off points they can make the difference between success and failure in our desire to follow Rangers, particularly for those who find themselves less able these days. In short, they offer affordability and accessibility. It is probably no co-incidence that the largest RSC in the world is in the far-flung regions of Lewis & Harris.
As an RSC member I consider myself no better nor deserving than the bear who jumps in his or her car and makes the solitary journey to watch our beloved team. Having done that for many a year myself, I have the utmost respect for them. But having joined my local RSC, the energy, vitality and sense of belonging it provides is a drug of addiction I couldn’t be without.
Our RSC’s are our lifeblood in so many ways – let’s make sure we sustain them.

Couple of tips for those travelling to next weeks away leg....
You must register with the local police in the town/city where you are staying within 24 hours of your arrival in Macedonia, unless you are in a hotel in which case you will be registered automatically on checking-in.(make sure they do this....or its a hefty fine)
If you don’t register you may receive a fine of between 600 and 1,000 Euros, and be detained or face a court appearance (which may include a restriction on your ability to return to Macedonia).
YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE SCOTTISH OR NORTHERN IRISH BANKNOTES OVER THERE ,they will not accept them in banks, hotels, restaurants currency exchanges.
Take your EHIC CARD with you (E111)....there is a reciprocal agreement in place with Macedonia for emergencies/
    heath treatment.
Take euros or us dollars in small denominations to exchange for MKD (Macedonian Denar)over there.
Enjoy the trip guys,I will be there from Saturday afternoon.
Staying at the IBIS city centre.
Look out for the NORTH DERBYSHIRE LOYAL flag and come and say hello, hello. and have a beer.

For me, it's immaterial whether we paid out his contract or not, because although I think he should have paid us, at least he is off the wage bill. Over the years we have paid "players" an absolute fortune for zero return, such as Prodan, that cunt Webster, Barton, O'Halloran, Herrera, Pena, and a few others, but Alves would have to be the biggest disappointment of them all as regards to what we thought we would get from him, both on and off the park. Here was a guy with bags of top class experience,  almost 100 caps for the European champions and a CV that suggested we had a player who would absolutely stroll Scottish football, yet all we got was a handful of games from him (that weren't that fucking flash anyway) and was posted missing when it mattered.
A fucking charlatan of the highest order.
