Watch the second half against Villareal or the St. Johnstone game to see what he brings to the team. Arfield hardly the only player who has so far been incapable of producing his best form away from home in the league - everyone bar Kent was shite today.

Sure, let’s start picking out players for criticism after an atrocious defeat.
Yes we have been brutal today, but jumping the gun to pick on a player, especially the particular player you have, is laughable.

Tom English is one of the fannies that started the "hothead South American" stuff about Morelos last season before there was any flashpoint to talk about - hacks like him write this pish so referees keep the "hothead" label in mind when dealing with Morelos.
Also, Tom English is a hacket faced fenian bastard.

Whatever happened to the concept of having a 'face for radio' ?
Between this prick, and Cosgrove whose range of skin diseases would be better suited to a fume cupboard than a studio, the BBC are truly the unacceptable face of Scottish football.

If you're a Rangers fan and you think this is a decent or fair article then you are naive in the extreme. This article has been put out there purely to continue the narrative that Morelos should be punished for being Morelos

'It was complicated. It looked like Morelos had been fouled, then he reacted by bawling at the referee, then he got booked. Some had sympathy with him, some didn't.'
    Wit?
I can just about understand the part in bold if you've seen an incident once, live at the game and you can't be 100% certain. However if you're writing a piece then you would think the fucking very least you would do is watch said incident one or more times to give your piece a bit more credibility. Therefore he's either not bothered to do his research properly or he's being deliberately mischievous. I think I know what one I would choose! The challenge was utterly appalling yet he is implying it might not have even been a foul! There was a real chance of him being put on the sidelines for a long long time. And not only was the guy not booked Morelos bloody was for his reaction.
A lot of Morelos' actions have been naive, silly and infuriating but out of them all I can understand a reaction like that to such a tackle. It's the Ufa ones I just can't get my head around when he gets involved in nothing incidents.
Out of all the things English could talk about though I do find his subject choice rather interesting. There are so many things he could write about. It's also ironic that he done a piece on the thumb recently and literally brushed off merely a few of his (many) misdemeanors in one sentence whilst gushing him with praise for the most part. Why not write a 'Can the thumb be tamed' piece? Or a legoheid piece? Or a Boyata piece? Did we have one for McGinn or Shinnie last season, the two most booked players in the league? Maybe i've missed them.
Morelos is far from perfect but everything and anything he does is massively blown out of proportion. Even before a ball is kicked that's all they talk about. He's been tarred with this brush and will never shake it off. It's also pretty clear that there seems to be a special, separate set of rules for Morelos compared to everyone else. No one is saying he hasn't made mistakes but he's still pretty young and he will mature. Gerrard being here is massive in that respect IMO. I think Gerrard is doing a great job. Some managers would have thrown him under the bus, especially with some of the leading questions the press have been asking of late. They've been gagging for a bite, a reaction, a headline. Thankfully Gerrard is too wise to all of that.............

Was thinking the same thing.  This is the same Tom English who said Rangers acted "unlawfully" and when challenged by a QC on twitter said 'I didn't mean illegally, just immoral'.  The QC said 'adultery is immoral but it's not unlawful, is it?  Tom said he was happy with the wording used and was happy to end it there.  He was exposed then as an absolute bellend.  The article above is a token piece designed to convince Rangers fans he's capable of being unbiased.  In reality, he's a bitter Rangers hater.
