    In his 34 years as Rangers manager the traditional Ne’erday derby clash with celtic was always one of the major fixtures in the calendar. Struth lost his first one as Manager in 1921, 0-2 at Ibrox – he would never again lose another one at home throughout his Ibrox reign, excluding the war years.

    Two of his ‘boys’ went on to follow in his footsteps as Ibrox Manager – Scot Symon and Willie Waddell.

    Wes was our keeper on 8 occasions last season.

    Conceded 6 goals, kept 3 clean sheets.

    Played against Killie 3 times and conceded 3 against them. Osijek and Cowdenbeath the other 2 to score.  Killie away twice, Cowdenbeath also.

    3 clean sheets were cellic, St.Johnstone both League and Ayr LC at home .
