Rangers Football Club are today delighted to announce Gary McAllister, Michael Beale, Tom Culshaw, Jordan Milsom and Colin Stewart as Steven Gerrard’s backroom team.
McAllister is Assistant Manager, Beale becomes First Team Coach, Culshaw Technical Coach, and Milsom is Head of Performance. Stewart will continue in his role as Goalkeeping Coach.
Thought they had been announced with Gerrard tbh.

Surely if there was a story to write (which there isn't) it should have been Hibs 'blocked' from cutting Rangers allocation, infact it could be any team in the league.
they use our name to sell papers, the only thing we all have in common with all other Scottish football is we are all obsessed with The Rangers.

If a player is good enough to perform on the pitch then having somebody over 30 or under 20 is not an issue.
The problem is that as Rangers fans we have seen too many older players that are well past their best who don’t perform. Then the criticism follows that they only signed to top up the pension.
For younger players the problem is they either perform well for 6 months to a year and return to their parent club or they don’t contribute enough and are taking a spot from academy players already at the club.

As a club we can't afford to do that though.
We can afford 1 or 2 signings in that range who are quality but we need to supplement with older more experienced heads & younger prospects who we can improve & sell on.

We can only benefit and get better playing against technically far superior teams to the Scottish dregs. Some good pedigree names we're playing against regularly too.
Great move from us and some of the results were truly excellent. It can only attract good young players to us.
