I dont think he was the last man.

Last man has f*ck all to do with it, its if the defender prevents an obvious goal-scoring opportunity (tu)

The words 'last man' won't be found in the laws of the game.

Might aswell clarify this as the 'last man' myth is still clearly going about.

A player, substitute or substituted player is sent off if he commits any of the

following seven offences:

• serious foul play

• violent conduct

• spitting at an opponent or any other person

• denying the opposing team a goal or an obvious goal-scoring opportunity

by deliberately handling the ball (this does not apply to a goalkeeper within

his own penalty area)

• denying an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving

If you believe it was a foul, and I dont, it was on the corner of the box heading slightly away from goal - it was nto a clear goal scoring opportunity

again i cannot blame boyd for his lack of chances. Boyd cannot create a goal from nothing all by himself, we have been outplayed by St Mirren and have had little possession to lcreate a chance ... Therefore nothing for Boyd to feed off, how can that be his fault ?

Trying to be optimistic here, but St Mirren are throwing too many players forward with us down to 9 men. The dynamic of them attacking and us hitting on the counter attack suits us a lot better than St Mirren sitting back and us trying to break them down. Not ideal, but we're far from out of this.
