For the avoidance of doubt, a substitute player whohas not been fielded is entitled to play for another club competing in theUEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League in the course of thesame season, provided that he is registered with the UEFA administration inaccordance with the present regulations. I would be astonished if we had not set up a plan with the player when we were supposedly in talks with him yesterday!
