Jack The Flipper 5,936
A little something to prompt the nostalgia! For me personally, although I was a Rangers supporter while Laudrup was at the club, I feel a bit annoyed my understanding of football at that time was so under-developed I couldn't appreciate how great a player he was.So although it might seem strange, I wishing I could go back and watch a player I had already watched as a boy, he's still the player I wish I could go back and REALLY watch play - examine what made him so special.I was lucky enough to watch Michael Mols with a more football seasoned critical eye, but to be honest, you didn't need to know much about football to see he was special. I have never seen a talent like that before, his crazy turn and close control that took the piss out of any defender he was up against. Even with crowds of players around him he could find a way to out-smart them and leave with the ball at his feet.Of course you cant help but mention the goals, and what always struck me about his, was that they were so diverse. He was able to make up his mind and do something out-with the rule book in a split-second.Michael Mols - a player whom didn't have to think what to do next, but was so talented he felt what to do next. That's why he was so fast at making his mind up - his mind wasn't a part of his footballing process.

CaptainAmerica18 846
I was too young to fully understand football during 9 in a row, so Laudrup, Gazza, Super Ally ect. Also going further back the likes of Jim Baxter and the Barca Bears. IamRangers 12
The Rangers player I wish I could have seen is Jim Baxter. The best players I've seen in the flesh outwith the Gers are Zidane (whilst at Madrid) and the one and only Lionel Messi. Weird_Beard 99
I really wish saw Willie Woodburn play for the Gers. But for me there is not a patch on Laudrup, ever to have graced Scotland and probably never will.

Ferguson_6 33
Wish - Baxter But was lucky enough to watch excellent players in the flesh such as Cooper,Laudrup,Gazza,Mols,GVB,Albertz etc. Was reading an old Rangers news when we were linked with Van Nistelrooy...him and Mols upfront would have been something special. Still wonder how good Advocaats team would have been if we kept Laudrup for another season or 2.

Weird_Beard 99
I used to kid on to my coaches I was left footed when I was a boy because I wanted to be Davie Cooper. I was rotten on the left as well. Didn't take them long to figure out. Although I say Laudrup was the best to play in Scotland. Cooper was my favourite. offminorthreat 1,465
Like a few others, I feel like I was too young during nine in a row to fully appreciate the more technical aspects of the talent in the team, so would love to wind back to day 1 of 9iar. Still have a stack of old VHS in a box at the parents place though that I might need to dig out as a compromise...Seem to recall in that box of tapes is the 92 cup final against Airdrie (my grandpa's team) and a cracking volley from Super Ally that I would like to see again.
