papaguy51 912
Emilson Cribari and Kevin Kyle signed last week...Two out of the amount of trialists we've had over the last two years is pathetic, shows a lack of preparation to me.
rfc1990 1,140
I think he turned down the move, said that he'd love to join Rangers but as a professional he couldn't do it.
the goal machine 7,810
Two out of the amount of trialists we've had over the last two years is pathetic, shows a lack of preparation to me.Or we have just given chances to players we weren't sure about and not signing them turned out to be the correct decision as none of them have really proven themselves worthy of being signed since. Maybe we should just sign trialists just to say we have then. Although we signed two last week.
the goal machine 7,810
Andre Moritz @andremoritz10@BMCRangersRants i trainned twice and while the game was on i was having training session by myself. I wanted to be a ranger Just don't think he liked the trial system.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Two out of the amount of trialists we've had over the last two years is pathetic, shows a lack of preparation to me.I think trialists during Whyte's time should be utterly discounted considering the man has since proven to be an utter crook. Might well have been that he vetoed any deals back then.A trial is a trial at the end of the day. I'm sure if we know the player is good enough and we know they are willing to come play for us then we will just sign them, ala Shiels. I'm quite happy for us to bring players in to have a look at, even if it doesn't end up in a deal
Iakona 2,269
Andre Moritz @andremoritz10 they asked me to play friendly game with no garantee im 26 this is my job i could not risk injury and be without workBasically he refused to play in a bounce game. RangersBud 11
Scott Burns @ScottBurns75#Rangers have dropped their interest in Andre Mortiz after he refused to play in a closed door game today. #RFCThat's it then I guess

The Godfather 72,400
He might aswel head back home then if he thinks he's going to get a club without having to play in bounce games to prove his ability. What a waste of time for everybody concerned. JM1872 3,744
What an idiot Obviously hoping we'd sign him without seeing him play fully and then walk straight into the team.
The Monk 3,208
Surely if we offered him a contract now he would sign, said he wouldn't play in bounce match as no contract promised beforehand.
Edmiston Drive 3,846
If you cannae play in the bouncy get to fuck...........if you cannae play in the bouncy get to fuck....oh if you cannae play in the bouncy cannae play in the bouncy, cannae play in the bouncy get to fuck
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Surely if we offered him a contract now he would sign, said he wouldn't play in bounce match as no contract promised beforehand. But why would we offer him a contract if we had him over for a trial to assess if he's any good and he refuses to show us if he's any good? AndBoydScores 8
Wouldn't buy a motor if you didn't test drive it beforehand. Sounds like a bit of a pussy to me.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
Seems rather ridiculous that a club would have to explain to a trialist that he might have to impress them in a trial match in order to win a contract.Best of luck to the guy but frankly, if you are too afraid to play a game of football then I think it is the right decision to tell him where to go
RangersMedia 35,961
I understand trials but ours seem a fucking joke being honest.Don't even need a crystal ball. Our system of bringing in trialists is so flawed it's unreal. As soon as you see the word 'trial', you know they won't sign.A case of speaking too soon there lads. The player refused to play a bounce game so we let him go. Well done on making yourself look like tits .
RangersBud 11
If he really wanted to play for us, than playing a bounce game wouldn't be a problem for him.I would rather take a look at players who actually want to play for us.
Raff1690 25
Fck, ad be buzzin to play a bouncy game and try win a contract with the famous Glasgow Rangers. Waste of time, ba bye now!

simplythebest 11,453
Christ sake, there's risk getting injured training as well, why not just skip all that as well!?
papaguy51 912
Surely we'd have explained the trial process to the guy before he came though? As I said, distinct lack of preparation. On both parts perhaps.
Marco Negri's Beard 1,423
He said on Twitter that he thought Ally liked him and wanted him.Well Alastair is a thoroughly nice man and, I'm sure, an excellent host. If you don't show him what you've got though, he can't possibly take it any further
papaguy51 912
A player who doesn't understand that trials generally involve showing what you can do in a bounce game environment? Oh right.I'm sure all clubs have different trial processes, so surely it'd be discussed before the player arrives.Would save so much time and money of things were done properly, honestly. Marky. 6,963
Oh well, to be honest, I was really uninterested in those videos. Everytime I was impressed, it was just someone setting him up.
The Monk 3,208
I thought it was a trial but on his Twitter he says he just came to check the place out and see if it suits him but didn't want to risk injury in the bounce match.
