djbroxybear 660
Great news for the club and the fans Charles Green has done a fabulous job pulling this off and knowing Walter he wouldn't have come on board unless Rangers were heading in the right direction. Bluepeter9 5,167
welcome back Walter! for those that want to know the role of a non- ecec. ....basically all directors carry equal responsibility for the running and corporate governance of a club. so a director role in any company is not to be taken lightly either as an appointment nor to join! executive directors ( I general) take responsibility for the day to day running of a company as well as their director roles a non- exec usually is there to provide experience and act to question / help guide decisions based on that experience. without being to pedantic the non- exec carries the can just as much as an exec if things go wrong so should fully understand what the company is up to!In rangers case having two rangers men on the board means less chance of shite happening that is to the detriment to the club or fans and from a fans perspective what better 2 men than Walter and Ian hart!
