They don't seem to have outstanding players coming out of their academy defensively either, their defense is definitely a worry.There is nobody of the calibre of Xavi anywhere. Thiago (or another player) could be nowhere near Xavi and still be as good as any team could reasonably expect. It is perfectly conceivable that 10 years from now the best midfielder in the world will be nowhere near as good as Xavi. I did the Nou Camp tour a couple of weeks ago, at one point from the main stand I could see one of the youth teams playing on a pitch nearby. It's true what the say, even at that age they were playing the same style as the first team.
