No Europe will be a big advantage to them

Should be.

City, Chelsea and Arsenal will have a few days to get ready for domestic games after the CL rounds where Liverpool have a full week.

It's a big advantage.

I can see City and Arsenal going out though after this round so it might not matter much.

Cardiff (a)

Sunderland (h)

Spurs (h)

West Ham (a)

City (h)

Norwich (a)

Chelsea (h)

Palace (a)

Newcastle (h)

Looks the best run in on paper with so many home games, will be amazed if they drop points against any of the bottom/mid table sides.

They look great but inevitably they'll have one or two shock results just the way it usually goes

Does anyone think Chelsea have played a part in Liverpools recent revival?

They spent 50 million on Torres which helped Liverpool snap up Suarez in Jan 2011.

Chelsea appointed one of their old backroom staff in AVB and overlooked another in Brendon Rogers who was doing well with Swansea.

When they needed for a partner to Suarez Chelsea gave them Sturridge for a relatively small fee as far as English strikers are concerned when it was clear they had a young side blended with experience in Gerrard with a desire to win the Premiership more than any other.

They appointed AVB before Rodgers had even managed in the top flight to be fair, then when Liverpool got him Chelsea just had to give Di Matteo the job after what he'd done.

The Torres deal has certainly turned out to be a blessing for Liverpool though, and letting them have Sturridge was madness.
