McCall?!? the same manager who got beat off this team that we played today, ALSO!! got beat of a shiter Rangers team last year, he has got a worse record in cups than McCoist. Yeah I will stick with McCoist the now until we actually lose a couple of games.

Your welcome to Ally.

Who do you think we could attract? So many big names would love a chance at taking control of us.

AVB? Out a job and may like a lower profile job outside the EPL

M Laudrup- Again may want to build up a team and into Europe

R and F De Boer- Still have a connection with us and show their support on Twitter. Maybe add in Numan and Mols as coaches?

Derek McInnes- Would be a popular choice and has proved he can play well and win.

Walter- Could steady us back to the top tier and have us challenging Celtic until he passes the baton onto somebody else. Knows the game inside and great record v them.

Pressley- Doing a great job at Coventry. Not the most popular but has teams playing good football

Butcher- Not popular since admin but had ICT playing great football and has passion to win

Souness- Unlikely but could be tempted and take Ray Wilkins as coach

Anyone else?

Durrant would not be running us after last time!

Ye missed oot martin oneill!

Jimmy Calderwood is free ...

That's exactly the sort of person it would be. People putting out names like Laudrup, Jol, de Boer are absolutely kidding themselves on.

Anybody who thinks the board would sanction another manager on the sort of money McCoist is on (even with the wage cut he's on a bloated salary for where we are going to be for the next two/three years) while our chief executive is actively looking at ways to cut costs is totally deluded.

Just someone who can motivate and get the best out of his players.

McCoist is a failure and he must not be allowed to carry on next season

This, Well we still have a chance to change things for the better.

Given the instability around the club these days I wouldn't expect many managers to walk out of a stable job elsewhere to come here, more likely somebody currently out of the game would be tempted.

Good point mate. Especially outside Scotland.

Eddie Howe. Low budget plays exciting football. Brings through youth players.

Not a bad shout there. I rate Eddie Howe quite highly. He basically built the team that Burnley are looking likely to be promoted with as well.

I remember when he went to Coventry and the Falkirk fans on P & B didn't seen to be that bothered. Some were even glad to be rid of him.

Is that the barometer now? How would be far with bigger budget? Better facilities, better academy etc,

It's not.just black and white as oh Falkirk fans were glad to see him go so he would be shite here

I would have gone for Nigel Clough, knows the English leagues where there are loads of players better then what we have. Sadly having got Sheffield United into an FA Cup semi and got them pushing for a play off position after the mess Davie Weir got them in to, he would be hard to get.
