We don't need enemies any more, They are sitting back with the popcorn watching as we tear ourselves apart.

On days such as this we should be protesting against the BBC, GCC, The Daily Record, Radio Clyde the list is endless.

But no, Some of our support had a better idea

The media, who are sitting on the biggest football stories for decades but won't touch them, is the most dangerous.

Land deals

Tax case leaks & HMRC refusing to let go (as opposed to vodafone, etc.)

5-way agreement

Without the media actually being balanced, we can spend too much time dealing with irritating behaviour, such as the BBC calling us a "new club", rather than the real issues above and more.

And to wider society, we can look like whingers rather than those who actually seek the truth. The logic for many is that "if there was actually a story, the media would be all over it". Because they are silent, the real issues - and especially the first two above, which are very important to us all and not just for Rangers/football - are being ignored and investigations are not taking place.

When will the media seek the truth?

One of the most dangerous things to the club is the element of our own support who refuse to move with the times and continually embarrass the club by providing the others with ammunition to fire at us. This is the twenty first century not the sixteen hundreds. Perhaps if they got out of their beds on a Sunday morning and actually attended a local church the protestant churches of Scotland wouldn't be on their knees financially and have such little sway on how the country is evolving.

Oh and that clown on BBC last week, Chris Graham has his critics but he is the most articulate media spokesman we have.

Those who have not told the truth about Rangers and those whose actions have been to work against Rangers or promote another club.

So we have GCC (Septic supporting Labour Counsellors voted in by Glaswegians), other political parties (SNP), the Media (News Papers and TV companies) Catholics and internal factions with in the Rangers support; to name a few.

Political- GCC will not miss the opportunity to help their beloved Septic, the SNP want to tarnish a noisy and visible institution that support base is predominantly unionist. GCC (Labour) are now the Glasgow political wing of Septic football club.

The Media- most news papers have reported distortions of the truth, rumours and speculation. I can think of a few reasons for this; stories about Rangers equal money, Septic supporting editors and reporters could not resist trying to stick the boot in. The BBC; has been one of the most active when it comes to distortions of the truth, from award winning documentaries (that have proved to be untrue), on the news programmes distorted truths and lies presented as fact and obviously bias journalism again reported as fact.

Catholics; this religious group/belief appears to be a base plate that binds them through a loyalty to their own or their sympathisers. This is mixed with a version of IRA/ Irish republicism that wants to recreate that very thing in Scotland. We are visible institution with a fan base is predominantly Protestant and Unionist, this means we have to be destroyed or made irrelevant. This is their job in hand at the moment and has been for several years.

A subgroup is the sympathisers; this can be broken down to 1) Protestants who want to be Catholics, 2) those who what to use logic and reason to talk to those who harm us and 3) those who just cant believe this is actually true ( lets call them the deniers).

1) Protestants who want to be Catholics- these people exist, the most recently would be Tony Blair who converted to Catholicism soon after he left the office of Prime Minister. If we think about it, we all know some of these people knocking around.

2) Logic and Reason- these people believe that we are all reasonable people and they can discuss this with reasoned arguments based on facts and this will help change the perceptions of others who hate us. The problem is that hate is a base emotion that is very difficult to change with reason, because hate in its nature is unreasonable, it ignores anything that is not in agreement with the reasons to hate.

3) The ones in denial; this is one of the most powerful mental defence mechanisms we have: we can’t accept the truth we deny it and find other reasons for people saying these things and blame them.

Rangers internal factions; these are the ones who will say anything, speak with any one, be friends with any one to gain power. They want a power base within Rangers and do not care how they achieve it, even if this means destroying the club but they will be left in power and believe they can make it great again. This type of thinking mirrors the messiah complex but is less invasive upon everyday functioning and is not delusional based.

The big question is how do we beat them?

I would say we have 3 main enemies as a support and as a country although I'm aware they'll seem abstract;

  • 'Ignorance' - A good number of "Rangers" supporters I have met hold views about this country, our club, celtic, catholicism, irish republicanism that comes straight form a propaganda leaflet issued by "the enemy". If you don't know your history, who you are, what your family represented and fought for, what you wish to see the country become like, what you want your club to be, etc etc then you're a one armed, one legged blind man trying to win a kick-boxing bout.
  • 'Self- Interest' - There is not a group in this country more self-interested to the point of their detriment that that of the White, British, Protestant/Atheist, while other ethnic and religious/political groups stick together, infiltrate then open the doors, chip in for the good of one so that ultimately all see rewards etc etc.............the former group will strive as individuals and will climb over their own pals in order to make headway in this world, ultimately making it harder for themselves, their friends, their politics, their club etc etc. Other groups club together,....look at the success of Catholics in high ranking positions of power and Pakistani shop/property/mercedes owners, that didn't happen with one man keeping himself to himself and trying hard.
  • 'Apathy' - Our support as a group and as a people just can't be bothered to find out more, to share the information they've gained, to stand up for themselves or what they believe in, to work as hard as the competition, to exchange views with friends to test their believes and improve upon them etc etc.........the reasons for this are many, the previously mentioned self-interested can't see the forest for the tree's, some of our support live on past glories preferring to stay in a mental bubble that tells them we still run the show, some of us are so thick we just genuinely don't give a shit because x-factors on.

True.

The division in our support.

When I'm at a game, on the way down on the bus, in the Rangers bars, there is nothing like the arguments online.

No doubt in my mind there are a large number of the obsessed behind the fall outs.

Look at any Rangers report in the media and the bheasts outnumber us 90% in the comments, also any pro Rangers content is voted down while lies from the obsessed reach double figures.

After Dr Death the real enemy is Propaganda and the vast amounts of lies that are passed of as fact, one need look back no further than last week when the publicly funded BBC announced our title stripping !!.

Yer man :cgreen: would be right on top of that

I'd say it was a combined effort, over seen by anyone claiming their love for Catholicism. That would be the root and their job was made easy because of the innate hatred of the most successful club in the world. That allowed the non-Catholic to pile on the bandwagon.

That's why they chased him from Scottish Football.

He was a threat to them.

We have many enemies already identified, but let me say this. Our tradition is hard work,a belief in upholding the law, loyalty to our Queen and this great Union, and an unswavering belief in our proud heritage. An earlier poster mourned the loss of Protestantism among our support, replaced with our gang versus their gang mentality, and I wholeheartedly agree.God,Queen and Country is no longer the watchword of our support, but it is still very much a part of this old Dinosaur`s life, and guess what?Proud to be a dyed in the wool,100% bluenose, and will die happy knowing that`s exactly what I am!

Never a truer word spoken.

As it is, Chris actually had the potential, but he was afraid to be confrontational and after he was shown up by Spiers - he was yesterdays man. Now he's reduced to being nothing more than a mouth piece for Herr Dingwall over on the swamp.

Ah well, you reap what you sow.
