The problem here is not what Somers said at all.

It is the fault of those (including somers) who posted inflated figures before.

It's not rocket surgery FFS.

They have electronic barriers to count ST holders and folk who've bought tickets etc. That is the attendance.

Anything else is bullshit and makes it look like we are trying to big ourselves up. We don't need to.

IIt would be quite difficult to know the actual attendance of a game in the future You could have a prediction but that Is all that it would be. You would only know the actual attendance after the match.

You could get everyone that goes to guess the number for a quid if you win its 1K.

All money raised goes to the sack the manager fund.

Every club reports the number of tickets sold rather than bums on seats. You're just dancing to the medias tune that we've done something wrong or immoral. We haven't.

Still a ridiculous thing for our Chairman and acting CEO to come out with publicly.

If septic have been under-reporting attendances for years, why have the DR not asked them for the true figures?

I have seen published in here the actual figures as provided by the Police, who presumably need to know for their security reasons.

That is where the truth came out.

There are other variables beside the footballing management that have effected our attendances.

Here are a few;

Supporter dissatisfaction/mistrust of the board including boycotts,

The boards' inability to get a credit card facility for season tickets sales at the start of the season,

Supporters getting bored with lower league football, evident at the euphoria of the Old Firm draw, a match that could fill any stadia in Scotland twice over,

Increases in the cost of season tickets and match day tickets. Even the price of food and drink has increased at Ibrox,

A fragile UK economy where many have experienced very low wage rises or unemployment,

The cost of living has increased eating into levels of disposable income,

Attendances figures at Scottish football matches are in decline.

These and other variables adversely affect attendances. Blaming it all on the management team is short sighted/agenda driven. Anyone who thinks a change in management personnel will result in a full Ibrox is deluded.

Because he was asked and if he lied, it would be an even bigger story.

Is honesty incompetence now ??

We can't be having mendacious directors now can we ?

Why did he sanction the inflated figure in the first place, he obviously knew about it.

I don't see why we should be coming out and announcing this. No other clubs do...

A cry for help? Without money coming in surly we'l be forced to fold pretty quickly? We were losing 8 million a year last year i dread to think what the figures are for this year.
