Alwaysblue 709
Can't just be me who thought he looked really dodgy. As an aside do you think Kenny Miller was saying to Allan at the end of the match "see you next week"
Bydo 3,355
I was terrified every time he got the ball to his feet. The back line seriously needs to tighten up.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Looked nervous but so did the whole team for the first 40 minutes.Defences take time to gel, only his first game give the guy a break.
RWB72 1,539
Give him time, the Burnley game we were shit infront of goal now look at today.

Moody Blue 9,754
I remember Goram chucking a goal at Easter Rd after he joined and replaced Woods. Let's give the guy the benefit of the doubt and enjoy today for what it was
Amac9 2,060
Didn't fill me with confidence.I'm all for playing football but there comes a time when you just put the ball into Row Z. Could have cost us today.
mitre_mouldmaster 21,510
I don't care. I'd go to watch that if we didn't even decide to field a goalie!Seriously though the guy needs time to settle.
miracle 7,846
I said on the other thread that I thought his positioning was questionable at times but we're still in July for goodness sake.
TheBluebells 6,898
Was nervous looking, as was the whole defence but he at least comes out for the ball which is an improvement over Bell. Can only assume and hope he will improve with time, we need a good goalie at Rangers.First goal was very poor to lose. maverick1200 2,909
Just look at de Gea. I will give the whole team time.
WCPRANGERS1 2,997
Adjusting to a new style and team like the rest, probably hasn't had to use the ball as much as feet before, some dodgy moments bug imo he also picked out players fairly well.Although I'd rather focus today on positives. ThatNightInFlorence 696
He settled in towards the end and any new goalkeeper has bedding in issues at the start. Look at De Gea ffs. What will go unnoticed is how he came out and cleared the ball often acting as a sweeper taking the pressure off the defence. But hey let's have a moan after a 6-2 away win against our closest rivals this season.... West_Side 1,571
Got more confident with his passing as the second half went on, though he was quite dodgy in the first. I think as he gets used to how we're playing and gels with the back line he'll come into his game a lot more. I'm sure he'll be a great player for us. JR 1,480
It'll come I'm sure. Obv he's not in the same class but even De Gea was a bomb-scare to begin with. Give him time troops.
WadeWilson 4,670
We don't need a keeper. We just score four more than we concede.

Corky True Legend 2,682
I think he will be more than OK once the defence is settled and he has more confidence in those in front of him. Liked the way he came out for high balls with the attitude "its mine". Also the time when he had to run out of the area to clear the ball out of play. onefootwillie 1,519
The way we are playing the keeper will have to play the ball out and from time to time we might lose a goal from it but overall if we are keeping the ball better rather than punting it like the last few seasons we will do well. The players will have to make sure they are available for his passes and we as a support have not to get on his back when the odd mistakes are made as they will be
NorthUistBear 86
Let's not panic just yet ffs! ?
Clemdog 39,389
It'll take time with his distribution and while his positioning for the goal wasn't great, we know from Swindon fans he's not normally like that. He did look confident taking balls out of the air which was pleasing and he also didn't give up passing the ball out even though he made a few mistakes. That takes strength and I'm sure he'll improve with time and getting to know his defence.
IbroxBurnzy 484
I think he will come good yeah he panicked me a few times but I liked the way he tried to get attacks started quickly.Thought he grew into the game as it went on I guess the full team did. Reckon there was half a dozen times he passed the ball out when in the past it was punted up the park. Encourages the team to play football. I think he'll do OK. Tumshie 205
The back four in general looked a bit shaky but that's perhaps to be expected considering they haven't played together before. They need time to develop an understanding. Thought Foderingham should have done better with the first goal right enough.
