Clemdog 39,389
Felt a bit disappointed in McKay's first half performance, like I did for the majority of the side, but after HT I thought he played really well. Played an important role two of the goals and unlike Templeton deserves time to show us what he's got. Played a nice pass into Halliday for his goal and showed a terrific turn of pace for our last goal, along with a teasing cross. I've got high hopes for him, even more so after that 45 minutes. I really believe Warburton can shape him into a dangerous player, whilst he's always one of the first players to get back and help out when there's a counter attack on. We Will Follow Rangers 13,358
Terrific in the second half, bit of a problem in the first half when hivs were dominant, doesn't do enough when we dont have the ball, he's only 20 still learning his trade, he will come on leaps and bounds under Warburton. MolsGoals 96
Really pleased Barrie is going to get his chance, think its clear to see theres a player in there. Sad that under the previous regime he was basically being left to rot on loan without getting a sniff.
plumbGER 24,518
I really like wee Barrie as a player, his work rate and attitude have been questionable before but he appears to be striving under Warbuton....i'm sure he can be a valuable player if he continues to try hard and improve
DamienM855 413
Two assists today for the lad. He had an insane assists record for us in the 3rd Division if I remember correctly, lets hope he can replicate that.
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
His confidence grew in the second half and he started to perform and maybe confidence is the key to McKay.
A Gallant Pioneer 555
He had a poor game but this is his first competitive match for Rangers in a long time. He will improve. Our game is made for him.
theweebluenose 4,343
I thought he did really well in the second half, especially in and around the box. I really think he can contribute a lot this season.

Tumshie 205
Poor in the first half but much better in the second. Hopefully he will develop a good understanding with Tavernier.
Marky. 7,107
Potential is there, attitude is a problem though.
DamienM855 413
He isn't good enoughHe picked out Halliday and Miller for the 4th and 6th, with two really well placed passes that the Hivs defence never saw coming. And this was during what some people are calling a "bad game" for him. He's good enough.

Courtyard Bear 41,357
Don't believe he's good enough or does enough, same as his pal on the other wing Templeton.
theweebluenose 4,343
Don't understand people criticising his performance, he did well and was much more effective than Templeton.

skinnymate1690 773
if he has an attitude problem i doubt waburton would be starting him done well in 2nd half and need to remember he is only 20 , potential to be a really good player
Getstiffed 8,863
We didn't even give him the ball for the first 30 minutes ffs. Mostly went down the left and when the ball went wide right it was either Holt or Tav getting on the ball.
Bears r us 31,294
I think it is wrong to say he is not good enough to play his part in the team, his second half performance like many of the other players was very encouraging IMO.
BlueSuedeSambas 56,337
Like a lot of the team he grew into the game. His play in the build up to Miller's first goal was absolutely fantastic.
