***the Official Rangers Vs Livingston Match Thread***

Recommended Posts

Rangers defender Danny Wilson could return for the Petrofac Training Cup quarter-final against Livingston after missing Saturday's win over Queen of the South with a slight knock.

Gedion Zelalem could also come back after being rested following international duty, but David Templeton and Cammy Bell both remain out.

Livingston have Scott Pittman and Myles Hippolyte suspended.

Darren Cole, Craig Sives and Danny Mullen are also out for the holders.

The winner of the tie will host St Mirren at the semi-final stage.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton: "The players know what's expected of them. Their targets are really clear for the season, there is no grey area. We know what we have to do.

"The fans are excited, their support is outstanding and we have to respond to that.

"As I say, we are two games away from a cup final."

Livingston manager Mark Burchill: "We want to continue as the holders so will look to win at Ibrox. We are big underdogs as we are at the bottom of the Championship and Rangers are at the top.

"We are playing better than our points tally would indicate and were unfortunate to lose to St Mirren on Saturday.

"If we play to the same standard then I will be pleased."
