Liam took over the Rangers youth twitter for a question and answer session at 1.30 today.

 

Confirmed he is close to signing a new deal. Not sure on how to copy and paste it in, i'm sure someone more technical will be able to do so!

Found it amusing and frustrating at the same time that MW had to defend playing him stating quite categorically that any youngster who gets game time or even on the bench gets there on merit and not to make up numbers.

He did well, was only on ten minutes or so but in that time he got involved, lost the ball but chased it down, played a lovely ball to BK and had a shot. Youngsters sometimes come on and look out of place but he seemed full of confidence

One of the issues with a disjointed youth system was that we created players who could play in one position, but we never played that position in the first team. With having a blanketed formation on the whole Club it means we won't have problems like that. 

 

Edit - I say that because I think Fleck's best position was behind the front man, but he continually got pushed out wide left.
