Deanofwright 199
Work is starting tomorrow on the pitch and they're hoping it will be completed by Tuesday. This is fucking madness, imagine relaying a pitch less than a week before your national cup competitions 2 semi finals ? Absolute shambles ! El Buffalo 120
disgrace and embarrassment
graeme_4 34,952
Even if it's like a bowling green for the end of the week (which it won't be) it will get torn up to fuck on the Saturday. Just stupid playing on it 2 days in a row, particularly when the biggest game in Scottish football is the 2nd of the 2.

bornabear 6,211
That's what happens when you do it on the cheap. SFA have run out of money, so can't afford to do it properly. No worries o'regan, the blue pound is back to help you. We shouldn't, but we will, cos we are The Rangers

Blumhoilann 6,712
Woeful surface and will likely be worse after relaying
Carling1873 1,404
Surface looked poor today and think that contributed to how we played, the surface seem to hold the ball up (grass not sort enough) also took to much punishment just from playing on it, leaving far to many boot marks (seems to be soft under foot), the only positive we can take from this is at least we know what to expect next week. OceanRain 2,845
Cost them £200k to lay the last one 5 weeks ago. And, yes, it's being dug up and replaced.
Deanofwright 199
Just when you think they can't get any lower or embarrassing they do something like this, the game has fell to fuck without us ?

TMB 14,167
A new surface will suit our tiki taka brand of football.
Captain Hilts 12,819
It's been relayed many times and it's still pish. The whole stadium should just be demolished.
Band of Brothers 10,303
Utter shambles and embarrassing I hope it is at least improved by the relay for next week and not players falling about like dafties.

Not 5/6 days before the game haha I've done a bit of turfing before and it takes a good 2/3 weeks for it to bud together and that's in good weather! dummiesoot 16,057
Injuries galore as the turf has no chance of getting enough root structure to bind it all in the space of a few days

Moody Blue 9,476
We should've created a specific national stadium when we had the chance and left that shithole to Queens Park. Usual short sightedness by those in charge of our game.  Every time the pitch gets relaid, it's torn up by second division teams playing on it.

Barely five weeks ago, the current pitch was laid at a cost of £200,000 but it's about to be dug up again having failed to bed in.
Dietspam 733
Queens Park should play at lesser hampden for periods around the cup finals.
