Sam English Loyal 945
This is the sort of non story that the press thrive on at this time of year. They are here for two years yet, unless the manager decides otherwise.
BlueboyG 5,284
I don't believe one fuckin word from the gutter press, if Mr Warbuton confirms it then fine, we will just have to see what happens throughout the season,

If we have though, then it would appear, if the reports are accurate we made the offers at the end of the season. Whatever the reasons behind the offers, personally I can't think of a better time to make an extension offer. In fact, contract talks at the end of the season would seem to be the most appropriate time to hold negotiations IMO. Barrie McKay's contract extension took a few weeks to get over the line if I remember correctly too. Off the top of my head I don't seem to remember the club releasing statements detailing every step of the negotiations, although happy to be corrected if I am wrong. Most updates came from Warburton at the press conferences. Regardless, part of all negotiations, whatever way you want to dress it up will include a form of rejection. You then go back and forth until all parties are happy. Very rarely in any walk of business life would all parties agree to something at the first time of asking. To me it seems a bit of a nothing story. The way the media are relaying this to world is as if they both have 6 months left, they have rejected every offer on the table and they're leaving tomorrow! I really don't see anything too concerning at this stage to worry about. We, as a club are in a pretty strong position.

From the daily rebel  THE futures of Martyn Waghorn and James Tavernier have been plunged into doubt with the Rangers duo believed to have rejected new contract offers. Both Tavernier and Waghorn have contracts that run into the summer of 2018, however it is reported that both players are uncertain of their desire to stay at the Championship winners having being offered significantly inferior terms than they had hoped to receive. Waghorn and Tavernier have been disgruntled by the superior wage packets offered to new signings Joey Barton and Jordan Rossiter, at a time when they feel they should be more handsomely rewarded for their role in Rangers' resurgence under Mark Warburton

King Jela 20,583
Not overly bothered tbh, would rather wait and see how they get on this season. I could see them both struggling. Don't think they'd be long in accepting new deals if they're both poor this year though

Frank Reynolds 3,359
Meh. If it's true, I hope we could get a decent fee for them. Billythebear77 10,386
I met Tav in Glasgow just before Christmas, the guy loves playing for us, he'll be after more cash and TBH there's nothing wrong with that. Non story IMOÂ

Changed it back to the usual and we should have won it. We just won't change IMO and I think with players like Barton, and hopefully a decent CB and striker we will start conceding less and scoring even more "Will there be some changes in formation? Maybe, sometimes"  Quote from the manager last week suggests there will be times we change.
