Now it's been confirmed that all 3 Scottish representatives enter at first round , first game June 29th, is it really a good thing to be playing in this?

players won't be getting a proper break and it's not inconceivable that with the way we are playing we might be out first round.

Obviously it's cracking  for the bears as it gives us a wee trip but will it be good for the team.

It's extra money regardless? (Ok, maybe not much at that level but better than nothing?)

There will be no Hyndman. No new signings. The real prospect of being horsed straight back out of it. I'd rather we are nowhere near it, which would men we need to finish fifth in the league, which would also be failure, so we can't win.

Listen, if we're going to get anywhere we have to have the ambition to play in Europe, not to be worried about playing some crap team on the 29th July.

This.

What has happened to our support man.

It is what it is.

Europe will be another step up on our rebuilding process (regardless of who the manager is).

Initially I'd expect us to benefit from experience and profile(ie europe helps attract better players), but hopefully over the next 2 season's financially with a group stages run.

We're hardly likely not to want to enter it, so like every Scottish team need to find a way to overcome the problem of limited summer break.

For me, that's all some way off anyhow. I'm more worried about the here and now and seeing if there's anyway this manager and squad can turn the situation in their favour and save his job.

Think it's June mate which is the OPs point re limited window for players to recuperate and then there's new players signed and bed in.

There surely won't be mamy players from this current squad still here at the end of June anyway so it shouldn't matter when we start back. Building for that date should have commenced on January 1st there. Bosmans, new contracts, possible loans, mutual trrminations, players sales, new manager in place etc etc.

So we are ready to fly into preseason after a wee holiday and face our task of a mighty quadruple head on. Back to competing on 4 fronts again next year and I cannot wait. That is where we belong. That is the Rangers I know.

We're in the first week of February. We have a manager who is regressing the club, we can barely score more than one goal a game and as much as it is its all doom and gloom.

The 29th July is a long way off and a lot of water will flow under the bridge between now and then.

Hopefully taking a few bodies with it.

As far as better players coming for Europa, we can only attract better players, when we have money to buy them.

We have beaten the "Euro battle hardened" Aberdeen and Hearts this season at Ibrox? To be serious, in one off games we can be decent. Playing away in Europe must give a squad good experience though.
